Caffè Rizzoli — Restaurant in Sheffield

I visited for the first time today and sadly won't visit again. This seemed the perfect place as there was only a small queue compared to the massive Oasis queues. Prices were on the higher side but based on the reviews that seemed okay. Firstly the staff are very friendly, the menu is varied and the atmosphere is good. The food somewhat lets it down and the quality does too (at least in our case). Scrambled eggs were inedible (in fairness this was taken off the bill). They were very clearly microwaved as they were in the shape of a bowl when they came. They were like rubber. £7 for two eggs and a slice of toast. Burger was totally fine in quality but not a £15 burger. It was very thin (3oz perhaps) and served with 5 roast potatoes. Mozorella 'sandwich' was a slice of bread with a few tomatoes and mozorella. Not sure if i expected too much from the word 'sandwich'. Hand cut crisps are literally straight from a bag of Tyrells or Walkers. Again, £9 for this. I totally get that prices have massively gone up but its not so bad when the quality or at least portion size is there but in this case it wasn't. The kitchen is tiny under the stairs so granted there's limits but this was worth...

We love Italy and its 'Al Fresco' café culture, so how do you experience this in a shopping centre? Just visit Caffè Rizzoli in the atrium on Park Lane in Meadowhall.

Caffè Rizolli is so successful in creating a 'virtual' outdoor atmosphere. Our reviewer had a busy day and stopped for a quick Americano coffee... it was just that... Sherwin the waitress was fast, efficient and very polite in taking our order. In fact the whole team were excellent in serving the coffee very promptly and dealing with the bill when asked.

This place is café restaurant with a very interesting menu of light plates and sandwiches. They have with a wonderful selection of desserts on show, and Italian ice cream to go. It is also licensed, a prosecco bar and we very much look forward to returning with some more time...

Absolutely terrible service. Once you’ve placed your order they do not care. No check back on food, waited 25 mins to try order fresh drinks but not one person came over after making eye contact with several members of staff several times. When we finally got someone to come over she made us feel like we had put her about asking for more drinks. She didn’t even remove empty drinks from table so asked her to come back and take them and she huffed. They then brought 2 Americanos instead of White Russian cocktails. How can you get that so wrong! Absolutely shocking place, it wasn’t even busy. They’re good at making themselves look busy instead of serving customers. Food was mediocre but the cake...
