Coffee Revolution — Restaurant in Sheffield

It's a shame to be writing this review because the coffee here tastes really good and I like the space. It's a cosy place, despite the big windows, comfy seats, usually good music, good WiFi and clean. However, on at least 3 occasions now my order has been forgotten or missed out. In addition to this I have been charged for a Latte when I asked for an Americano (and had it confirmed by the server), so I was charged extra. I don't drink milk so would never have ordered a Latte. Not even a sorry. Twice I have ordered coffee to take away and after 15-20 minutes of waiting, while everyone served after me got their coffee, I have been asked what I am waiting for and then the order written out and started. On another occasion I was staying in. I gave my table number, paid and took the seat as instructed. Half an hour and nothing! I had to go up to the till and point out that I still hadn't received my coffee. Really disappointed in the service. There used to be two counters, one for seating and one for takeaway, but they make everyone queue together now so it's longer queues and a longer wait. There are some gluten free and vegan snack options, but they warn there may be cross contamination, so if you have an allergy don't bother. Sorry to say, will be looking for an alternative coffee shop...

I come here quite often to get work done in the morning with the motivation of the nice coffee and tea they serve! All my experiences so far with the staff were great however I went in to get a coffee this morning and was served by a staff member who was very off handed with me! I went order from the place I usually order from, the staff member that served me, advised me to order from the non-takeaway section, after I ordered a pot of tea. This was done with no empathy towards me, as I was just a little confused as I always had no problem ordering drinks to stay in there. So I made my way over to the correct stay in section, were the same staff member served me. I tried to smile whilst I attempted to re-order to lighten the mood between us but to no avail. The kronuts and kruffins are AWESOME. A cross between croissants and muffins/donuts, they always have interesting new flavours on offer. I would definitely recommend the chocolate orange one. The coffee is always of a great quality and service is fast, especially considering how busy it can be. I also love how eco friendly it is as a coffee shop. You get money off if you bring your own reusable flask instead of using a takeout cup and they have a jug of water and glasses out - you can't buy a plastic bottle of water here. They also use paper straws and I believe will start charging an extra 20p when you use a takeout cup. Love the atmosphere and...
