Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Sheffield

This was my 1st visit to this Costa which is located on a shopping complex. There's a fairly large carpark which also serves as parking for Home Bargins,Aldi & Tim Hortons so it was very busy & i nearly actually left when I visited early on Saturday afternoon but luckily a space came available.The Costa itself is good size & provides about 30 tables inside and 8 outdoor tables for when the weather is nice .Theres also a drive thru facility. Staff service inside was very pleasant indeed but I was disappointed to find they didn't have the New Spanish Latte available due to missing ingredients,my alternative drink being a cappuccino didn't get a chocolate stencil design either.The toast I ordered was a little pale so attention to detail could be improved here .Cash or card payments...

Popped in for a coffee with my mum after shopping around 2pm on the 10th October 2019 What we came across was only 2 members of staff on, one in the drive thru department the other on the front. It was a gentleman that served on the front. The queue was 7 deep. He looked miserable, no eye contact, no smiles. Perhaps, this was due to no staff and him doing everything on the front. The cafe was trashed, dirty crockery on all the tables, it just looked a mess. After waiting ten minutes in the queue myself and mum walked out. We took our business elsewhere. Won't be...

We go here a lot so we can say we like it. The atmosphere is nice but we go for the coffee. Food OK if you're not fussy; tray bakes and muffins quite nice but small and a bit pricey in my opinion. Staff mainly friendly and helpful and quick. A big shout out for the manager. Invariably friendly, approachable, hard-working and clearly conscientious. He serves with care and pride. Just occasionally tables not quite cleared fast enough but they do get busy. Customers could help a bit by returning the trays to the collection...
