Firstly I must be honest I usually go to Costa for a coffee but we were in the area so thought I would go in. The sitting area - there was not one clean table so ok maybe they had been busy! I must say really like the mug my cappuccino came in. That's the best I could say about it it needed more coffee in it, so if I go in next time I'll order an extra shot. The ratio should be a third coffee a third milk and finaly a third froth, sadly mine was not anyway near those ratios. While I was drinking my hot milky coffee the male barrister came out to clear the tables, which he did with his trousers so far down I could read what size underwear he was wearing! He then sat down at one of the tables to collect some mugs etc. While I can appreciate they must have been busy is that professional!? He then carried a tray with a couple of mugs on. The table was in no way cleared by the way. He then came back to drag tables and chairs across the floor, these tables and chairs are on a tiled floor and they made such a raked it vibrates though my teeth. It also made it impossible to carry on talking to my daughter! He disappeared again without finishing clearing tables. I thought the overall cleanliness if the coffee shop was lacking and being serviced by staff who appear to not know how to serve without a smile or even a half hearted attempt of being pleasant I don't think I will be changing my coffee shop at all. Thank you but...

Service is good, prices have gone through the roof with this organisation, with increased prices that aren't justified by any improved quality. However, they are on top with variation, constantly offering new concoctions of frappucinos, & flavours. Starbucks are known for often announcing 'Paper cups only' due to short staff, so no mugs available, or because the dish washer had 'broken down' I've observed this at many of their branches as a former ardent fan, I find this quite insulting, with the price of their beverages! This particular branch doesn't carry much of a vibe, like some of the other branches. It might be subliminal, that one feels rushed, with it being a drive through, as well as a sit in. No comfortable seating, giving the impression, they aren't wanting customers to stay too long. Starbucks, in the early days (UK), used to be an 'experience ' where one could sit comfortably, have a beverage of choice, maybe food from a less extensive menu than now, but a good one. It's engaging atmosphere presented opportunities to have a breather, read a book, pull out your laptop. A more personable engagement with staff was prevalent. Come on Starbucks! Lower your prices. Read moreI have been wanting a Starbucks in my area for years as it is my favourite coffee. I usually drive through but on Friday I sat inside as I had time to kill. It was 1200 hrs. I have to say that I was very disappointed. It was a warm, dry, sunny day but the floor was filthy with dried muddy footprints covering most of the floor, which I cant believe was from just that morning. We looked for a clean table but every table had crumbs and liquid rings/stains on. Even some of the chairs had food on. This was not a busy time for the 3 members of staff as there was only about 6 customers inside. The staff seemed oblivious to the dirt and when not serving, they stood chatting. Couldn't one of them have cleaned the tables or mopped the floor? It spoilt my experience. My daughter (who is a regular there) told me that it is always like that and most people criticised it for that. I mean come on. It's brand new and only just over a couple of months old! I can only say that I hope the cleaning improves. For the time being though, until a cleaner is employed or staff get their fingers out, I will stick to the...
