The place is amazing with great decor and a cool vibe with a large variety of food. I ate poutine from "The Gravy Train" while my friends had food from "Edo Sushi" and "Five Rivers". The poutine was delicious and I've eaten their food before elsewhere. The food that my friends had looked equally delicious. When ordering food you have can either order it at the stall or you can order from the app to your table which is pretty nifty. The app however isn't particularly user friendly and when ordering food, it's possible that the order can get rejected. On asking it turned out it was because where we ordered from was too busy which is fair enough, but it would be nice if the stall owners had an option to notify you why they had refused the order. We came on a Saturday evening and it was really busy. It took about 20 minutes to find a table and then it also took a while to get food. In my case it took almost an hour from ordering, "The Gravy Train" is probably the most busy stall out of all of them. If going for the first time I would recommend going on a weekday where i'd imagine it's significantly quieter. I think it would be even cooler if they had some sort of live music occasionally as well but I don't know if they would have the space for that. Also, a better app user experience would help tremendously.

I came down to Cutlery Works with a few friends and that's exactly the group of people I feel was right to come with. First of all we booked in advance and waited for a short time outside while the host got us in, however we did get told to just sit anywhere that's not reserved yet we booked so not quite sure how that one works. It was already bustling at 12.30 but was still a nice social environment, you could easily still chat amongst your friends. When it came to ordering we all used the app, this works well to some extents. It's efficient and stops people queuing at the stalls, however it doesn't like you ordering bits from different vendors at once so you end up making quite a few transactions, on the other hand I can see how this could be an issue trying to make this payment work all in one so no worries! The staff are quick and efficient, in particular the ones who come and clear your glasses/fishes away, these guys never stop! I had a few bits of food from different vendors and all were to a good standard so no flaws there. Drinks are also very good from the two vendors I got them from. Overall a good experience and I would return with friends again, but probably not family of older ages as they wouldn't find it comfortable. (Definitely not the wooden seats!🤣)

I've never seen this exact setup before. Its like a collection of street food vendors all in one... inside street? So, there are multiple venders that each have their own cuisine, we had the choice of Thai, Indian, Burgers, Chicken, Pizza, African, and a few others that I cant remember. You pop onto the Cutlery Works app or browser and order all together from your table. I ordered chicken from one place, my daughter, a pizza from another, and her partner a burger from another joint. After a short wait, you get a message from each place telling you youre food is ready, you go and pick it up. All 3 of our meals from 3 different vendors were exceptional, we thoroughly enjoyed each of them. Looking at what was coming out of the other kitchens, I feel I would have been on for a winner no matter what or where we ordered from. Apparently the vendors do change from time to time, so that keeps things fresh and mixed up too. Definitely worth a return visit, again, and again, and again. Note: Be careful on Google Maps, if multiple pop up, you want this one: 73 – 101 Neepsend Ln, Neepsend, Sheffield S3 8AT

A brand new food hall opened just on the edge of Kelham island. Great building and layout which suits the many different food stalls and bars dotted around the place. Loads of choice ranging from Indian Street food, Pies, locally made chocolate, coffee bars, and plant based food at Shed. Loads of other veggie and vegan options too. It was super busy when we visited, the downstairs was darker and felt more enclosed, made more atmospheric by the slightly smokey atmosphere from some of the vendors. It has the feel of a busy food market, with the noise and smells to match. Upstairs is a more airy atmosphere with lots of natural light and less crowded (at least when we went!). The food at plant was based around the produce with loads of great options. Would definitely recommend. We also sampled the coconut biscoff from Elly joy. Big thumbs up for both. Will be back. Why not 5* - it's still a work in progress, and the downstairs felt a little closed in for me! Great food and drink options though..

Our first time here on recommendation from my son. I'm gluten free and didn't feel there were a lot of options for me and the vendors I visited however, when I spoke to two lovely men at Jimmy's Burger's they told me they could do me a classic burger on lettuce with fries from a dedicated fryer. My daughter has the blue cheese and bacon burger which she thoroughly enjoyed. Generous amount of fries and very tasty burger with trimmings. My GF option was also very tasty well presented and generous. Great friendly and knowledgeable customer service, definitely recommend and visit again when next in Sheffield. Thank you. Server's were very good and kept on top of drink order's and clearing plates away. Good setup with various vendors but was a little too noisy for me and my autistic daughter especially as there were loads of children around.

A nice experience. After hearing about this place from a few friends a few months ago, I have been keen in trying to find time to try it out. The cutlery works is essentially a food hall with various food stalls selling different types of cuisines. There are two floors of the building - The bottom floor has more western food and Indian food, as well as desserts. The top floor has more Asian food. The design and interior of the place is nice and very apt for the cuisines available. There is just enough room to accommodate people when I arrived around 7:40pm. The pho and sushi I tried from Five Rivers and Edo sushi (in respective order) were tasty. Definitely a nice place to chill with friends. Just a shame I’m not a Sheffield local and it’s not walking distance from the city centre or uni. Overall, I would recommend to others!
