Edge cafe — Restaurant in Sheffield

Don't bother. So we visited today to try the Sunday dinner. I had called in yesterday for a coffee and was impressed by the fact that everything on the Sunday lunch is homemade. I called the cafe yesterday to let them know a party of 6 would be in at 12.30 for Sunday lunches and wanted them to be forwarned given it would be a large order. We arrived at 12.25 and our drinks order was taken. We were told due to just eat and Uber eats orders, we would need to wait half an hour for food. We understood and said this was fine. Fast forward to 1 pm, 35 minutes later and still no one had come to take our order. When we approached the counter and asked, they said they would be over shortly. The young waitress came over and I asked how long it would be until the food would be ready if we ordered, given that at this point we'd been sat for 40 mins without our order even being taken. The waitress went in the back and did not return. At which point we got up and left. As a business you need to decide if you are a takeaway or a cafe. Appalling service today and won't be back. I wasn't sure what to expect from ordering my sunday lunch from here but it was fantastic! I called up and ordered a large Sunday dinner mixed meat and extra roasties, granted the roasties could've used a bit more salt but that's my own choice.

The potion size was great too! Cheap price but so much food! I am absolutely stuffed!

I will 100% be ordering from here again for Sunday lunch!

I would've added photos but honestly... It looked so great I just wanted to eat it and I don't regret it!
