Southern Fried Chicken London Road — Restaurant in Sheffield

Didn't turn up. Waited 4 and a half hours. Rang the restaurant after hour 2 and they promised to deliver within the next half hour... No one showed up.

Edit: It's the next day. They're sorting it out today though so will update review accordingly

Edit 2: My order today arrived, they gave me a free drink for missing my previous order. Not great but it's something.

Edit 3, my reply to the owners response: When I do my job I make sure I do it properly and not wait over a year to respond to a complaint. I rang you multiple times and you told me it would be delivered. If your business is having a bad day then you should have the decency to call me and tell me you're not going to deliver it, instead you fed me false promises, took my money and didn't give me what I paid for. I will be changing the 2 stars, but not for what you would have hoped. Take some accountability, maybe apologise. I paid you, you failed to...

I've ordered from here a few times at my old address so was really happy when I saw they delivered to my new one.

The food arrived on time and was piping hot so no complaints there at all!

The zinger burger was cooked really well but it has absolutely no flavour at all which was disappointing. It just tasted bland.. the fries were fresh and nice.

The SFC was again fresh and cooked perfectly but absolutely no flavour at all.

The chilli dip was terrible. It was the cheap bottled stuff from the cash and carry that tastes bitter and like vinegar

It's such a shame because these guys clearly know how to make fried chicken but the lack of any flavour means I won't be back...

Naturally I'm a very difficult person to please when it comes to the type of food I eat, the service I receive, cleanliness, etc but I give these guys the kudos. The food was perfectly cooked and very fresh. I had to wait for about 10 mins but it was definitely worth the wait. The young man who served me was very polite and professional. I also liked his enthusiasm and passion for his job. I'm glad that I didn't listen to the negative reviews from other customers. The only reason I gave these guys a 4 instead of 5 is because they don't accept cards. I will definitely be visiting this place again when I'm next...
