I love this pub, mainly because of the people who frequent its fantastic beer garden, the view is superb to say the least. I am also a fan of the Free-masonic decor inside. The chequered tiled floors and humorous bathroom wallings make the place feel indeed like some sort of lodge. The bar is a little small but this doesn't cause harm or distress in any way. Many an evening has been had wandering about this fine establishment. One of the few left in the area and wider Sheffield. A rare haunt!

The former Old Shakespeare is now re-born as the Brothers. It might sound trendy, but it isn't at all, it still has all of the traditional elements that make a great pub - separate rooms, and a great cask ale selection, usually of five or more. Recommended.

Great pub - good selection of beers and ciders in tap and in bottles; good selection if pub snacks. Live music throughout the week; beer and music festivals throughout the year. Probably the best beer garden in Sheffield. Certainly the best view.

This friendly pub is a fantastic spot that ticks all the boxes for a relaxing and enjoyable visit.

The warm, welcoming atmosphere is matched by the incredibly friendly and attentive staff, who go out of their way to make you feel at home.

With a great range of drinks on offer, there’s something for everyone, whether you’re after a crisp pint, a carefully selected wine, or a refreshing soft drink. The bar snacks are a treat too . A well-curated selection that’s perfect for a quick bite or to share with friends while you chat.

Unlike many pubs, there’s usually plenty of space to sit down and enjoy your visit comfortably, making it an ideal spot for a laid-back catch-up or a pre-match pint. Blades fans will find it particularly appealing on match days the perfect place to soak up the excitement before heading to the game.

Another big plus is the convenience of parking, which is typically available nearby, making it easy to stop in without the hassle of hunting for a spot.

Whether you’re a regular or a first-time visitor, this pub is the perfect blend of friendliness, great drinks, and a relaxed vibe. Highly recommended for a match day or any day!

Forgot to mention on match days there's a lovely food van on site pumping out some...

Went there for a football reunion with some old football teamates and had a cracking time taking the Mick out of each other ( Am I allowed to say Mick now ?) sod it I've said now , telling stories and supping good beers. The Barman was top drawer as we only told him the order once and he remembered it for the rest of the afternoon. The beer and atmosphere was really good, I had a Porter and the others beer and lager and no complaints on either. Will definitely call in again and regale my former teamates to how good I thought I was lol. Pat...

Great boozer. Thel locals and staff are friendly. It's dog friendly too, well outside was at least but I think insides fine to, maybe ring ahead if you want to be sure. Good selection of local beers and ales from brewers like Neepsend Brewery. A range of international ales too, pretty sure there was some American and a New Zealand brewery. Got ya typical booze too like Guinness and Aspall cider. Traditional style pub, usually busy in the evenings giving it a decent pub atmosphere. Bar snacks and...
