Went there for a football reunion with some old football teamates and had a cracking time taking the Mick out of each other ( Am I allowed to say Mick now ?) sod it I've said now , telling stories and supping good beers. The Barman was top drawer as we only told him the order once and he remembered it for the rest of the afternoon. The beer and atmosphere was really good, I had a Porter and the others beer and lager and no complaints on either. Great boozer. Thel locals and staff are friendly. It's dog friendly too, well outside was at least but I think insides fine to, maybe ring ahead if you want to be sure. Good selection of local beers and ales from brewers like Neepsend Brewery. A range of international ales too, pretty sure there was some American and a New Zealand brewery.
