You Want Beef — Restaurant in Sheffield

I believe I’m being generous giving 1 star back as the food quality is honestly great but delivery/service is just shocking. It was once brilliant but the last 3 times, not so good.

1st time - placed a collection it said 30mins, they delayed to 45 once it was nearly time. When I got there it wasn’t ready, made me wait another 30mins and never even said sorry for your wait.

2nd time - placed a delivery order, again 30mins but they kept delaying and took 1hr 30 in total.

Today’s time - placed an order with 30mins delivery, delay after delay. Once I got to an hour and half it still said 50 mins so I gave up. The biggest joke is I drove 5 miles to another burger place, ordered, drove back and realised I hadn’t even cancelled the order online (2 hours after ordering) and it still said 50mins! So I cancelled and enjoyed a burger from elsewhere.

I get places are busy but if you can’t deliver food in a hour in this day and age you need to invest in your infrastructure. Nice burgers, but not worth a...

We popped by to try the food and we especially enjoyed;

You Want Beef Classic Burger (£7.00); 2 Smashed Beef Patties Topped With Melted American Cheese, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Grilled Red Onions, Gherkins and Special Homemade Sauce on Brioche Bun – This was a decent smashed burger. Clucker Fries (£6.00); Skin on Rustic Fries Topped with Chicken Breast pieces, Topped with Algerian Sauce, and Melted Cheese – These were to die for. Fiery Clucker (£7.00); Succulent Fried Spicy Chicken Breast, Topped with Melted American Cheese, Garnished with Fresh Lettuce, Tomatoes, Gherkins, Jalapenos, and Finished with Tortilla Chips, Salsa and Homemade Special Sauce on Brioche Bun – This was decent, but the chicken was a little dry unfortunately. Here is the thing. It’s pretty hard if not impossible to get a review out of your’s truly, but it would be unfair not to help others discover this little gem of a place.

1- The person on the front was welcoming. 2- Food arrived within 10 mins of ordering. 3- Was piping hot. And smelt delicious. 4- The burgers were absolutely delicious. 5- Succulent with the right amount of moisture. Not over cooked not under cooked. 6- The taste was exactly what Angus beef should taste like. 7- The burgers were not overpowered with flavouring. (IYKYK) 8- The chicken burgers were top notch. Seems like a secret recipe. 9- The people who served us at table provided service to the book. 10- Last but not least. If you have not tried their fries. You are going to regret it. Bucket list them.
