I've eaten at a lot of kurdish restaurants across Sheffield - although a good addition to London Road, the service from the staff here make me want to forego the delicious food. In particular, the lady who is at the counter (full face of makeup/dark eyes- name Nazlee) has the stinkiest attitude I've seen in a while. As I walked in, I saw her yell quite loudly at a single man who had sat down without notifying the staff. All heads turned at her tone, in which she patronisingly told him he couldn't be served until he'd told her he had sat. Unsurprisingly, he got up and left. That aside, the food itself is quite nice - tender chicken, salad with the meals, but no complimentary water bottles...which you'd get at the Kurdish places in Spital Hill and Abbeydale Road. Seating itself is quite tight and cramped, especially when busy. All in all, save yourself the stress on a Saturday night and go somewhere that you'd get better customer service for the same quality of food.

I ordered food at 8 o’clock. They gave me the food at 8:34. I asked them twice how long will it take they said it’s coming. They clearly forgot to cook my food and they cooked my food at 8:22 pm. I saw them take my chicken Teaka from the front and cook it on the stove at 8:22. One star service. I asked multiple times when it will be coming and they said it’s coming but they just basically forgot. It doesn’t take 35 minutes to give me a shawarma wrap and a Tikka. I came all the way from Manchester, specifically for the shop as it was highly recommended by all my family and friends, but I will not return due to the poor service I received. I also ordered takeaway, and the non-came in a separate bag of chips, came in a separate bag for Chicken came in a separate bag and the salad keep in a separate bag, so I don’t suppose how are you meant to eat a full meal in all separate bags.

Ordered through Deliveroo. I had high hopes for this restaurant as I’ve been searching for Persian food in Sheffield for a while, but this was the most disappointing takeaway I’ve ever had. The Koobideh (mince lamb kebab) was not cooked properly, the recipe is not authentic Persian, I’ve never seen koobideh like this. The Joojeh (chicken) kebab would’ve been half decent, but it was raw. The drinks were well priced. The chips were just cold and dry on arrival and the rice portions were quite small. Overall, for the price, the portions of the rice and meat are small. Im from London where we have an abundance of Persian restaurants and for similar price you get a huge portion. My friend is unwell after eating this food. Unfortunately I will not be ordering or trying this restaurant again.

Ok. So after five orders from this place I feel I can properly review. If you like Persian/Turkish type food, or just a meatfan, then you must give this place a try.

They have a proper charcoal grill in the place and this gives the food cooked on it immense flavour. Delicate, but amazing. The quality of the meat has been on point too.

Seems pretty much most things on the menu come with the most delicious flat breads on the side.

The typical order for two of us is something like:- Mirzaghassemi - Aubergine starter. 10/10 Kashkeh Bademjan - Different Aubergine starter, also 10/10 Maslo Museer - Yoghurt and Garlic starter. 8/10

Then usually a kebab each for a main. There are no bad choices here. Lamb Tikka is my favourite, but the Lemon marinated Chicken is a winner too. I also enjoy the minced lamb kebab and minced chicken skewers too. Just depends on taste at the time of ordering.

This can be one meal, but we've taken to making two days worth of dinners out of it. Get and extra kebab and the meat from all three can easily last two people two days. Yes you can eat it all in one go, but it is definitely possible to split over two days and still have a great meal each time.

If I have any complaint, it is that there is not a lot of salad included with each main. Not by any means a big negative, just a personal preference thing. I tend to chop an onion, some extra iceberg lettuce and a tomato to supplement what is supplied. But this is purely because I like my kebabs quite salady.

I would strongly recommend trying the Shawarma from here too. Get a plate or a wrap, but this is something every kebab enjoyer should try.

I should also highlight the rice from here. It is fluffy and yet not soft. Some of the best I have had.

Another noteworthy mention is the Shinina. A Yoghurt and herb based drink. Very similar to Doogh, but without the carbonated water. Utterly delicious! A must if you're never had it. Complements the food perfectly.

I really like this place. The food is exceptional, staff are nice and friendly, and the prices are exceptional. The breads I mentioned? 50p each. I haven't received a single bit of food I didn't...

The following review is split into 4 paragraphs, each written by myself and 3 of my sisters....enjoy.

Me: Quite frankly, this was not our first choice. We were walking down London road, as our usual spot was closed, and thought "why not try it out". We entered and were greeted with a massive smile and unwavering kindness, led to our table after a bit of banta and seated. We had ordered hummus and 2 full chickens. The food came with complimentary lentil soup as well as naan and salad. The hummus was amazing, not too grainy and not too soft. The chicken...succulent...tasty....juicy....tender....and most of all heartwarming and caring, touched me in my heart of hearts, cared for me like a mother cares for her child. Also shoutout to the waitress, she was absolutely splendid and took care of us as well as the rest of the customers in a motherly fashion.

Sister 1: Entered the restaurant and greeted with three big booms، guys all of u should go, the waitress was such a g she litch took care of us - what a queen. Food was AMAZING genuinely chicken was so juicy and guys make sure u ask for THAT green sauce it was immaculate. Vibes were there 10/10.

Sister 2: When I stepped into the restaurant I felt all the aura on me. The food was so sigma and the way the waitress served was so tuff and nonchalant. My big brother wasn't so skibidi and gulped down all the food. I have never seen one so determined to finish thy meal. As his tedious finger lurched onto the chicken, I have never seen ones greed take over him.

Sister 3: When I went into the room I already knew this shop is getting 3 KATCHIGGAS but the only reason they got 5 stars is because of my siblings. i would have given them 3 but theyre lucky. So yeah...but the food was scrumlumyyumyum pur pur pur pur and so skibidy but I'm too young for my...

Avoid this restaurant. I approached staff at the restaurant in February 2025 to book my birthday party. Male staff at the restaurant was very friendly and helpful. We booked a party for 22 friends for 15/02/2025 (Saturday). I later received a phone call from the wife of the owner (Nazil) who informed me that we have to cancel it as they can only accommodate 15 people. She offered me to rebook the party for Monday, 17/02/2025. I agreed and invited my 22 friends for 17/02/2025 at 19:30. A few days later we called Nazil to discuss menu for Monday. She unexpectedly told me that she now can’t accommodate my all 22 friends and can only offer a place for 15. I tried to explain that I already invited my friends and it will be awkward to choose who can and who can’t come. I also reminded her that we already agreed well in advance on the number of people coming to my birthday. I find Nazil is really lacking the people skills. I found her very rude and we just can’t understand how Nazil is managing her business this way. She clearly is unhappy with her life and just spreading her unhappiness everywhere she can even to people who are ready to give her their hard...
