I only put 1 star as prompted, I went for breakfast 1st Oct 2023, only 2 find out after paying, no condiments, seriously they had about 10 bottles of mustard n all empty, 2 bottles of ketchup, no salt, asked bar person, n told we waiting for a delivery nxt week, asked if they could go shop nxt door, reply was no. I asked for a refund, sorry but paying nearly £10, I like a sprinkle of salt & Condiments. Manager come over said u want refund, nothing to else, found attitude rude, not even apologies, he refunded on card, asked for copy off refund, was told "no u cant have copy " saw him throw away, asked again he gave me a receipt, for someone else with their card details, different value. Went back n explained not correct, he said nothing, n gave me screwed up receipt and only partly refunded. So looking at it outside, again and thinking ur robbing me n trying 2 get some money for nothing, went back inside, heard him saying "oh no he's bck again, asked for full refund, as I hadn't had anything, he blames me, n said what I asked for. Reminded him, he never actually asked me. I said u could have easily resolved this matter, he replied " I didn't want too, as we have a delivery nxt week, I would have brought, condiments, n let them keep, if wanted. Joker, also rude. But mainly, give me, others receipts, n bank details, n thought I would not look. Ruined my day n mood. Would not recomend this place for food. Oh n also sticky beer on table, assume was from night b4, as I went at...

All in all the Wetherspoons pub offered it's usual good value drinks and food at very competitive prices but the reason I've given it one star was the service. Because it was before noon the pub was very quiet. My wife and I were the only customers at the bar. I asked for a bottle of Hardy's Chardonnay, an ice bucket, and two glasses for my wife and myself. The barman said "I don't see why not" and took my money gave me my change and took the first bottle from the fridge and walked away. Almost immediately a female member of staff put two dirty looking wine glasses in front of me just after I had checked the temperature of the bottle. I asked her if it was possible to check to see if there was a colder bottle in the fridge behind her. She felt the bottle and said it was was quite cold. I said that I knew that it wasn't warm but that usually the bottles nearer the back of the fridge were colder. She replied "YOU'RE GETTING AN ICE BUCKET AREN'T YOU?". I would like to add that whilst the wine glasses looked filthy I believe the appearance is caused by the dishwasher. It happens to me at home after I've washed glasses in my dishwasher for a couple of...
