Visited just before the Christmas break whist staying at the nearby Premier Inn Slough South, decent Spoons with an excellent range of real ales and craft beers. Lots of space, no problem finding a seat, it's larger than it looks from the outside! Everything seemed clean and tidy, and of course the wonderful Wetherspoon value for money. I must point out one major fault to be aware of, but this only applies in wet weather. The entrance has a chequered black & white tiled floor. When wet this turns into a ice rink as I discoverd to my cost whist entering the premises (not had a drink at that stage!). I went flying, and was assisted back onto my feet by staff and other customers. I was told by staff this is a very regular occurrence due to the floor, and to be fair they looked after me well. I'm not going to deduct any stars for this but it really does need attending to, going over the area with some none slip paint would be an inexpensive fix.

Half decent weatherspoons in a good central location if your are shopping around Slough. Service was good also and anything you need was easy to get. Tolilets were clean for a spoons. The food was okay. The pizza was more generous in size than some of the spoons that I have visited and was topped well with the sauce going to the edges. I would definitely Not order a jacket potato from here. Paid extra for cheese, which I did not mind, but it meant that it covered the fact that I was given about two to three tablespoons of beans (as you can see in the attached photos). So my advice is go for something like a pizza and make sure you don't add extra toppings to food items, or you might end up with less of what toppings are already included.

Great breakfast spot. Clean and an ambiance that boasts the British culture and history. They even have slot machines. The food itself was decent with room for improvement. However, their model is lacking in that it is self seating and ordering through a QR code—while that works, they are truly missing the human touch. The servers are distant and unapproachable, perhaps due to the way it is setup. Food cannot be customized. When you enter, no one greets you and unless you’ve been there before—there is no sign indicating the self seating and order method. That said, it is a decent option for those staying close, especially at the Residence Inn or Moxy.

I only put 1 star as prompted, I went for breakfast 1st Oct 2023, only 2 find out after paying, no condiments, seriously they had about 10 bottles of mustard n all empty, 2 bottles of ketchup, no salt, asked bar person, n told we waiting for a delivery nxt week, asked if they could go shop nxt door, reply was no. I asked for a refund, sorry but paying nearly £10, I like a sprinkle of salt & Condiments. Manager come over said u want refund, nothing to else, found attitude rude, not even apologies, he refunded on card, asked for copy off refund, was told "no u cant have copy " saw him throw away, asked again he gave me a receipt, for someone else with their card details, different value. Went back n explained not correct, he said nothing, n gave me screwed up receipt and only partly refunded. So looking at it outside, again and thinking ur robbing me n trying 2 get some money for nothing, went back inside, heard him saying "oh no he's bck again, asked for full refund, as I hadn't had anything, he blames me, n said what I asked for. Reminded him, he never actually asked me. I said u could have easily resolved this matter, he replied " I didn't want too, as we have a delivery nxt week, I would have brought, condiments, n let them keep, if wanted. Joker, also rude. But mainly, give me, others receipts, n bank details, n thought I would not look. Ruined my day n mood. Would not recomend this place for food. Oh n also sticky beer on table, assume was from night b4, as I went at...

Visited here Sunday morning, 11th May 2015. We wanted a drink before eating elsewhere for lunch. All in all the Wetherspoons pub offered it's usual good value drinks and food at very competitive prices but the reason I've given it one star was the service. Because it was before noon the pub was very quiet. My wife and I were the only customers at the bar. I asked for a bottle of Hardy's Chardonnay, an ice bucket, and two glasses for my wife and myself. The barman said "I don't see why not" and took my money gave me my change and took the first bottle from the fridge and walked away. Almost immediately a female member of staff put two dirty looking wine glasses in front of me just after I had checked the temperature of the bottle. I asked her if it was possible to check to see if there was a colder bottle in the fridge behind her. She felt the bottle and said it was was quite cold. I said that I knew that it wasn't warm but that usually the bottles nearer the back of the fridge were colder. She replied "YOU'RE GETTING AN ICE BUCKET AREN'T YOU?". I would like to add that whilst the wine glasses looked filthy I believe the appearance is caused by the dishwasher. It happens to me at home after I've washed glasses in my dishwasher for a couple of...
