Do NOT listen to 'Costas Costis' , this is a lovely pub with Fine hardworking and Happy staff. Take a brief look at Costas other reviews, notice anything? it is literally, a list of utter misery. How ironic that Costas should complain about 'Miserable' when all he does is actively seek it. I'm not surprised the lady who wiped his table couldn't wait to get away from him, he really does stink that bad, and i know this because i had to deal with the scumbag in a past job. Bitter? Perhaps, but this has to be said. Costas - Take a look in the mirror mate - The staff at Boots hate you, The staff at Ben and Jerries hate you, The staff at Trespass hate you - Sports Direct hate you, You Can't Even Buy a CAR properly because you LOOK so scummy and unapproachable!!! Difficult to review as never entered pub but feel the need to as least leave feedback. Taking my 87 year old mother for lunch . Dropped her near pub and went to park car. When I got to the pub she was still standing outside. A rope barrier and sign said 'wait to be seated ' Mother had attracted a member of staffs attention and was told to wait. I in turn identified myself to one of the 3 staff behind the bar. After a further 5 minutes of waiting on the pavement we left. The pub seems to be unnecessarily maintaining outdated covid rules and showed no urgency in seating potential customers. I'm sure they will defend this as 'keeping customers safe but frankly just smacks of appalling customer service. I for one will not be visiting this unwelcoming...

Absolutely beautiful food ! and amazing price's. I had Sunday lunch at another Pub, paid twice the price and had to leave half as it was burnt. Then I discovered the Dolphin and it's the only place we will eat now unless I'm in another part of the UK on holiday etc and as soon as we're back, it's straight to the Dolphin for super food. I had breakfast at a Hilton Hotel, cost £15 and it was disgusting. Breakfast at the Dolphin is fantastic, like all their food ! and the drinks are a Great Price too👍as long as you are totally honest in your reviews, then you have nothing to worry about, because 'honesty is the best policy...
