Worst Service, Cold Food, Rude Waitress,

went for lunch with my friend (Saturday), as we went inside the restaurant, waitress (age 22- 26) rush towards us, then she shouted at us and said "eating in or take away", no hallo no hi, thats not we was expecting, even though table of 12 was also shocked by her behaviour (they sat just next to us) how ever a table has been offered to us, after waiting 15 minutes same waitress took our drink and starter order, after few minutes she came with starters, but had to wait nearly 9 to 10 minutes for our drink, starters which we have ordered was hot, not even warm aswell, after having cold starter (which was meant to be hot) me and my friend order some more starter but exactly same again, cold, not even warm, while finishing the second starter me any my friend decided to place the order for mains, but the waitress refuses to take our mains order, in reply she said we have to finish all our starter, but the funniest part is, she said " you finish starter, me take order, you no finish starter me no take order" LOL, my friend was telling me, how come she is waitress if she cannot speak english properly, after we finished starters we placed the order for mains, within few minutes another waitress (age 30-35) came with our mains but the second drinks order, which we have requested for, before main course, was not served, till half of our mains was finished, terrible, while we was waiting for our mains my friend asked waitress ( age 30- 35) " is it please possible to know where is the washroom, waitress shouted at her, and rudely said go upstairs" while we was having our mains, none of the waitress even bothered, to come and ask us, how is the food or is everything ok, and also, while we was having our meal we noticed ( just top of my friend shoulder) dry white paint was falling apart from the wall, this is not acceptable at all, its totally unhygienic, well after finishing your food me and my friend decided to inform Southampton City Council regarding the health and safety issue, after finishing our meal we requested for our bill, one of the waitress (age 22- 26) was busy on her phone and the other waitress was busy in kitchen, then we decided to walk to the counter and pay our bill, how ever we didnt have any cash, so i was paying by card, waitress (22-26) was not happy at all cos i was paying by card instead of cash, she asked twice, if i can pay by card, while we was leaving the restaurant none of the waitress bothered to say bye or thank you, so thats the worst experience we ever had, as far as your worst experience, we would not recommend any one to go for a meal at TANG'S, worst service = - 00 , cold food = - 00 , rude waitress = -00 , and unhygienic restaurant = - 00

So Please, never ever go to TANG'S for a meal...

{豉椒炒牛 Black Bean Sauce with Beef and pepper - £.13.50}

Appearance 3.5/5 - Fair plate with an acceptable amount of sliced onion and peppers. (Suggestion: Could have placed the peppers and onions in certain shapes and places)

Taste 4/5 - it's slightly salty for me, other than that it's alright.

Texture 3.5/5 - Unbalanced, some beef are soft and some bdef are rough. Peppers and onions are fine though.

Size of the dish - Medium - Large

Service 4/5 - Did not provide water at first, but later provided it when requested.

Environment 3.5/5 - Warm, and basic design.

Temperature - Hot

Comment - For me it is too expensive. Rice are required to order separately, which costs an additional amount of £3.50, makes the dish quite costly. LUNCH SETS ARE BY FAR COST EFFECTIVE, DO NOT EAT DINNER HERE

(Lunch edition, 2nd time review) {Special Lunch, Chicken and mushroom soup + Chicken with ginger and spring onion - £ 8.50}

Appearance 4/5 - The whole dish looked very fresh and appealing. Had Carrot, onion and some vegetable as the topping, which balanced the star of the dish - chicken. Could have used broccoli as the vegetable to add some greeness and texture to the dish.

Taste 4.5/5 - Overall very fresh to me. Did not have a strong sauce, which makes the freshness of the dish stands out.

Texture 4/5 - pieces of chicken, onion and the vegetable were soft, and the hard carrots balanced it out. The mushrooms were also chewy in texture. Could have added some broccoli.

Size of the dish - Medium - Large

Service 4/5 - Asked me if everything was alright, and gave me a cup of hot water with the dish.

Environment 4/5 - Warm, served with some chill music. Have some pictures hanging around the wall.

Temperature - Boiling (Soup), Hot (Dish)

Comment - For a Lunch set, it is worth to try it out.

Went tonight, was just vile food. The People was nice to start but we asked about certain dishes and was not understood. Talked about in the kitchen And a over all bad atmosphere by the end !! The prawn toast still gooey, satay sauce is like one i have never tasted all watered down.barely any peanut at all The duck and pancakes was cold, over cooked squid. Was see through! The Rice was rock solid microwaved! Curry sauce was like water i have never eaten a chinese like it!!! And its a shame as we travelled for an hour to go eat there and was severly disappointed! To then have the cheek to try charge us £67 for 2 full priced adults when we only had starters and had sent all the mains back!! For being under/overcooked The prawns so hard and over cooked. Noodles was like mush it was like they gave us somebodys left overs. Asked if kung pao prawns was in batter told yes, they wasnt but was hard and over cooked. Rice was solid and cold and clearly reheated. The manager tried to then argue with us they have many happy customers.and we are unfair to not pay? And we should told him. Yet we did! They brought out the food and we told him straight away! but he had no cares thinking we was going to pay 2 full adults! And left it as that! 0 cares! It was only when we said we would Pay for what we ate he then wanted to tell us we was unfair and hes food was good even though we never touched it?? And was cold and unedible! I asked him to touch the rice or try it he refused! It had been untouched! He knew it was disgusting! As a chef id be mortified to serve people such under fulfilling disappointing over cooked dishes but its just Delusional and its sad as we really left hungry!! If you have taste buds this place is...
