Had to pop in to check out the freshly cooked pastries and cakes as I was walking past.

Typical old school bakery with all the goods on show in glass show cabinets.

Lots of old school favourites here and new delights to try.

Got a chocolate choux bun with vanilla cream and a quarter of fudge cake.

Both decent and respectable treats although wish the choux bun had the chocolate spread all around so you got a bit in each bite.

Fudge cake was lovely with a cup of coffee.

Staff were pleasant and shop was clean, with prices at a fair price.

Do you like salt? No I mean, do you live for salt? Are you one of those people who carry tiny paper sachets of salt around with you just in case you buy something to eat and disagree with the portion of provided seasoning? I always abide by social distancing rules, but one older member of staff in here was extremely rude and almost shouted at me in a very undermining way. Maybe she should try approaching her requests in a polite manner and people would be happy to listen and stick to the rules. Unfortunately I definitely will not be going back in here.
