My daughter and I went in for lunch today for the first and last time. We ordered 2 toasties, a coffee, hot chocolate and a cake, the staff were friendly and we were served quickly as it was only 12noon, it did get busy later. The toasties you got to choose out of the chill counter and it was put in an oven which warmed it up but it was soggy, and it came with a knife and nothing else, no fork or sides so it was hot to pick up a soggy sandwich and difficult to eat, my daughters hot chocolate was very disappointing as it was only a flavoured syrup and hot water, there was no milk in it, and it also had a 3 hairs in it, they did replace it but never apologized. the cups are stored on top of the coffee machine right next to where customers are being served and should be upside down for hygiene. Also all the cakes are plant based which we only noticed that on a board outside as we were leaving so we wouldn't of ordered one if the signage inside was clearer. There was also a cold draft on some of the tables coming from the air conditioning units. All in all a very disappointing visit, and expensive for what you got. There are much better independent coffee shops in Leek that would be much better...

Taking revenge by giving 1 star to a place i work won't change the fact we serve excelent food and that i am very well liked by the customers because, contrary to the manager at this coffee shop, i can't do enough for the customers, particularly if they are not happy with what they have ordered. The manager at the coffee shop should have smile and offer to make another coffee: "yes of course madam, I can see this isn't the coffee you ordered, apologies and I'll make sure the next coffee is the one you ordered" Instead she called me rude and said i was also rude when i came in?? I didnt even talked to her when I came in!! I ordered my coffee from one of the girl! Lying about I've been rude before , accusing me to again being rude for asking to make the coffee I asked and then throwing me out? I know I got too angry but that manager got a bad attitude. Alberto's kitchen has fantastic food and great service, Who gave it one star for my behaviour which happened on a coffee shop are welcomed to go to Domino, I helped Alberto get that place where is now and customers adores the food, look at our reviews then look at yours, 2.9 for 20...

Would never be dining here again came in with my elderly grandmother who is 96 and I was incredibly disgusted on the treatment got straight off the boat from who I assume was the manager was very impatient with my grandmother when ordering her food and drink. After a while we then asked the manager how much longer our drinks Would be and they were very aggressive and insisted our drinks would be right out after sitting their for a further 5 minutes I ask a young lady how much longer our drink would take she was amazing throughout our dinning experience with coffee #1 after returning the tea we had order because it was warm and not hot the first set of cup that came where still dirty. Over all the attitude on the manger was very unprofessional. I can’t fault the young girls that work their they where lovely and very accommodating toward my grandmother . Would never recommend coming here...

Welcome addition to Leek. Coffee good albeit a little pricey. Our flat whites were tasty but tasted like skimmed milk was used, but that’s a personal preference. Friendly staff, but now come my criticism… As we entered there were 3 staff, quickly down to 2. One on the till and one on drink prep. We had to clear our own table purely because there were no free staff to do so. The plate my pastry was delivered to me on was wet. No napkins avail or offered with drinks, had to ask staff. Many tables had dirty cups on, awaiting cleaning. Happy to see a new business in Leek but need to sort management out as in a small town like Leek, word gets around. Negative or positive.

Procaffeinating is really my cup of tea 🤣 good coffee, as a tourist i prefer an other brand that's not sold in my country and love it when im in the UK. Should have stick to my first plan to have a tosti mushroom-ementhaler. Instead i had the focaccia-sausage one, but not my nr.1 too. But tried and never again. Gendernutral toilet. Great cakes. Yumm yummies. Nice and friendly personal. It's dog friendly and you can sit inside or outside.

Dog friendly coffee shop with fantastic staff who provide an excellent service with quality products at a reasonable price. Only had drinks so can't comment on the food but what we saw looked great Our boy Benji loved his puppachino.
