We popped into The Roebuck Titanic Brewery in Leek whilst visiting the town centre and recommended to us by the girl in the Candle shop. The building and inside decor and atmosphere was fantastic to say the least and added to the warm ambiance of this pub! We weren't disappointed as the "Leek totally locally burger" as well as the fish and chips were fantastic. My pint of Titanic Plum Porter ale was excellent and the after pint of Chocolate and Vanilla Stout ale was delicious and extraordinarily amazing, I love Titanic Brewery ales and this place certainly delivered these to perfection. Best ales I've had in a long time most definitely, well done Titanic Brewery! Not to disappoint, the house Belvino Pinot Grigio was excellent too and according to my better half. The overall prices for the drinks and food was really reasonable and worth every penny. Social distancing was maintained and the staff even though wearing the now "De rigueur" face masks were really welcoming, friendly and added to our complete enjoyable experience. We highly recommend this pub and it's been one of the best town centre pubs we've been to in a long while. A very big thank you to all the staff for a fantastic and enjoyable experience and to Titanic Brewery for having such an excellent pub in Leek, well done to you all!!! Definitely be back if we return to the Leek canal Basin sometime in the near future....

Staff were extremely rude from the outset, and I tried to order at the bar multiple times only to be told they were helping other people. I wanted to take a picture of the bar, but they told me no photos. That’s fine, if it is an actual policy, which should be written. I mean, seriously, when are photos not allowed to be taken of a bar?? Honestly I think I rubbed someone the wrong way at the outset when I tried to order at the bar downstairs which I was told is not a bar. Or maybe they just don’t like Americans. Who knows… I left without getting a drink. Most likely they are so popular they just don’t care if one customer doesn’t get a beer and leaves. I won’t be back. Too bad since I had met another person at the Blue Mugge who worked there and said it was a good place. Oh well.

It was lovely. Great service and friendly staff. Wasn't busy when we went. New menu and price changes, good selection of beers ciders lagers and spirits, as well as lots of soft drinks, they have had new screens on the till, so you can see what you have ordered plus your titanic card points. The totally local burger is very small for the price. We get the bacon and cheese burger instead. However the quality of food is well worth the prices, tried the salmon fishcakes on Tuesday very good. The staff are very friendly especially Joe, he's a lovely mannered young man and nothing is too much trouble for him.

Luke warm coffee, wrong food order and not cheap! We ordered two milky coffees and when they came, they were tepid. We sent these back. We ordered two full English breakfasts, one without mushrooms, and one with everything. We asked for one with brown toast. When they came, both came without mushrooms and both had white toast. When I has more than halfway through my breakfast, the waitress brought another two tepid milky coffees and asked if everything was alright with the food. We told her no and explained why. I was offered the mushrooms and brown toast to be cooked but declined as I didn't fancy having when I had already almost finished the food. When it came to pay at the till, I was presented with the bill and paid. After I had paid, the barman asked again if everything had been alright. I told him no and explained why. He apologised and said, "that's the way the coffee comes out of the machine". He also apologised about the mix-up with the food. I would have been more inclined to accept the apology had I been asked before paying, and if the coffees had been taken off the bill. Not the best experience and we won't be returning...
