Decent size beer garden out the back and some outdoor seating to the front of the pub. This looks out over the high street so is great for people watching and catching the sun. Live music was on when I visited on a Sunday afternoon. There are some good choices on the food menu and the service is always good in Joules pubs such as this one. Overall a really friendly local pub with a great location in the town, just opposite a Titanic pub and with many more within walking distance. There is a car park directly behind the pub but it'd recommend parking on the nearby Aldi if it is a short visit as you will then be able to park for free. Get yourself in for a pint of...

Bar is for serving and you can't sit at it, so there's no socialisation with the staff.
The other areas of the pub are all separated, apart from the back area, but that feels like an add on.
Decor is really nice and authentic for the most part, but the back suffers from too much gift shop tat on the walls.
And although I do love my ales, I've not found a Joules...
