My partner and I were seeking somewhere out to provide substantial fuel for a hike in the Peak District, and we came across Leek Oatcakes as being en route to our hike starting point. It is a quaint little place, unassuming from the outside. We ordered at the hatch for our chosen oatcake wraps (double filled with bacon, sausage, egg and cheese). They were made fresh, and very quickly. The wraps were amazing, especially for £3.50 each! Such excellent quality for the price and we were fuelled up for the entire 13 mile hike. The only reason for taking off one star, is that we asked for sauce (ketchup on mine, brown and ketchup on my partner's) and this was either missing or in a very small quantity that it wasn't noticeable. Would have given the full 5 stars if for not that minor detail. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this place to grab something to eat on the go, we'd love to return back in the future. Thank you! 🌯🥓

About as artisanal as it gets. A gem of a product - delicious. Consistently good and worth a 20 mile drive. Support and cherish this business because what they do is special.

We came to the oatcake shop for a proper Staffordshire breakfast just before we travelled back up to the north west. The owners are extremely friendly and the oatcakes are delicious. We had one pikelet with jam, one double cheese and sausage oatcake and one double cheese and mushroom oatcake, plus some extra oatcakes and pikelets which are now safely stored in the freezer for special teas. The charm of the proper oatcake shop never loses it's appeal and the owners are keeping something really special going. Next time we come down to Leek you will be on our list of...

I have used the Leek Oatcake shop intermittently for 30 years but haven't been for 3 years until today. Good service is still there and very tasty oatcakes at a great price and I purchased my usual dozen. However, I have been going on for years how nice they are made there as opposed to my home in Yorkshire only to have the blandest cheese oatcake ive ever had and my wife laughed as we ate it. Come on fellas, that cheese doesn't even taste of anything. Please bring that shop to the dizzy tasty heights again. Sorry for the downer but I was...
