I was really excited to try this place but it was a bit meh it’s good for stoke but compared to Birm options was nothing special
Pros :
heating was on full blast which was nice / cosy for winter weather -portion size is generous pretty aesthetic but doesn’t look as good as their insta nonetheless it’s pretty and you’ll get lovely insta worthy pics if that’s your thing they serve tap water with ice if like me you don’t want fizz food was decent cookie dough was very affordable compared to Other places -food was presented beautifully chef /owner asked if everything was okay after this is good service . I didn’t mention anything as there was nothing wrong to rectify but just my personal taste preference so thought a review is more ideal
Cons :
I’m about my food over pics etc and it didn’t live up I got parmo with chips , coleslaw and salad . The latter items were good but the parmo tasted like masala marinade under the cheese which I was not a fan on . Don’t think it’s worth £16 due to taste but size is good . I prefer parmo From Manjaros and Casa parmo cookie dough says fused but is a topping . I can’t stand it saying that on menu incorrectly . it said fused with F rocher when I asked about it because I was sceptical as most places do the same cookie dough and just do toppings I found out in fact it was just a topping . This was a disappointment . I’ve only been to two places where it was fused in artisan and biskit and trust me I’ve been to 100+ dessert places -cookie dough was more on the gooey raw side and I like mine more well done . However I can imagine a lot of people would love the gooey taste so if that’s your preference ...

We had the absolute pleasure of being looked after by Olivia and Zuzu during our first visit to Mi Amor, and they truly made our experience unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, they were incredibly attentive, friendly, and full of energy. Despite us being visitors from London unfamiliar with the area, they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and supported throughout.
Travelling with four young children (aged 3 months to 6 years) can be a challenge, but Olivia and Zuzu handled everything with patience, warmth, and genuine kindness. Our kids absolutely adored them - they were fun, engaging, and always happy to help with every request.
We were on a tight schedule and mentioned we were in a rush, yet the breakfast was cooked to perfection and served promptly without compromising on quality.
Watching Olivia and Zuzu work together was a joy - their teamwork, positive energy, and friendship was wonderful to see.
The owner of Mi Amor should be incredibly proud to have these two exceptional individuals front of house. Thank you both for your outstanding service - you made...
Read moreMi Amor is an absolute gem in Stoke-on-Trent! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and made to feel welcome. The décor is beautiful, thoughtfully designed with a cozy, uplifting atmosphere that makes you want to keep coming back.
The food is outstanding. And the food decor and plating is amazing. I ordered the French Toast my first time, tried their hand full and the food ladder 🪜 thing , and they were full of flavour, and beautifully presented. The portions are generous.
Service was just as impressive, attentive without being intrusive. The staff clearly take pride in what they do, and it shows in every interaction. I also appreciate that they offer halal options, making it an inclusive spot for everyone.
Whether you’re looking for a hearty breakfast, a relaxed brunch, or just a coffee with friends, Mi Amor is a place you’ll want to come back to again and again. I’m not saying they should increase the price but I will pay twice how much I pay every time I visit. Whenever I’m in Stoke, I try to visit almost every Sunday. Highly...
