Greggs — Restaurant in Tamworth

Very disappointing, I went in about 1pm yesterday and the queue was out the door (not unexpected at lunchtime but was moving very slowly) some customers left without being served and I wished I had. Not enough staff to serve customers then there are dirty tables everywhere and the toilet facilities were disgusting. Once we had our food and drinks we found a table and sat down. My friend told a member of staff about the condition of the toilet and 5-10 minutes later a member of staff went in swept only some of the tissue off the floor (he left the door open so we could see his cleaning ability) and he left the rest of the toilet including the toilet seat in it’s already terrible condition then returned to the counter and carried on serving customers!!! Feeling sick we binned our items and left...

Says on maps 8.45am not busy, we were just in for breakfast and 3 staff left us standing and one customer behind us leaving in disgust. One large lady came through with tray of bacon to add to cooker. Second woman came through with tray for displays, 3rd little large build lady came through to view the snow falling said how nice then left again.

Asked for sausages on rolls and woman began with bacon rolls. Long story short... Not staff that care about the job they took on.

Each job you take on show some enthusiasm for the tasks, priorities need taken on board and customers in shop should be greated with a welcome and their order taken.. Dont leave them waiting 5 minutes till you feel ready.. Do job...

Shocking service. If you like R&B style rapping music then come and stand in a queue of people listening to the rubbish while the staff focus on serving just eat (and other delivery companies) many people left the queue today I had to stay as my daughter had friends stay over and wanted Greggs. If this wasn't the case I would have walked out too. I got to the till, the guy asked what I wanted, I told him, he bagged it handed it to me and the only words he said was the amount due. Nothing else. Customer service is shocking now days but I guess that's covids fault. This is the last money I'll spend here and I recommend...
