Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Tamworth

I am a client of this Costa since December. Back in the winter I couldn’t complain about quality of drinks/ food because it all was okay. However last couple of months on every visit there is always something wrong. Firstly they weren’t ordering caramel sypup for a month, so no caramel lattes/ frappes for such a long time. Lately they introduced new frappes, I had bluberry and mango. Blueberry’s taste was alright but they didn’t add blueberry balls that this drink should contain, there was almost no syrup and they gave me ridiculously small straw that made drinking this impossible, this drink is just too thick. If they don’t have ingredients/ accesories they should inform about it straightway and offer something else. Mango one was disgusting, instead of mango all I felt was coconut. I ordered a croassaint as a part of a promo “buy any coffe and get croassaint for 1£” and they gave me stale one. It also takes them ages to make a drink. When you finally get one of the coffee frappe it’s wattery and their whipped cream looks like cottage cream. Drink turns into mud in just 3 mins from getting it. Considering the prices for what they offer I do not recommend visiting. If you fancy their drink better go to the other Costa by the Greggs- I’ve never had any...

Went in today with my partner and ordered two drinks and specifically asked for them to be made with skinny milk. Whilst we were waiting we saw one of the girls making our drinks with whole milk. We said to another member of staff when our drinks were passed to us that these were meant to be with skinny milk, which she asked the girl if they were and she responded no. There was no apology from any of them, and whilst we were waiting on our drinks to be remade with the correct milk, a couple of other customers had issues with their orders to which one of the girls behind the counter loudly said 'what is wrong with people today?' the other girl then finished making our drinks and slammed them down on the counter and didn't even apologise to us. I actually work as a barista myself and I totally understand that it can be stressful when it's busy, and of course that mistakes do happen but I would never dream of taking this out on my customers. Just really poor service and we will be avoiding this...

Worst Costa ever! AVOID! Frappes are so thin that I believe normal coffees are thicker because of frothed milk. That's apparently normal for them now because it was like 3rd or 4th visit with the same result. Also, I ordered an extra coffee shot, and they gave me a normal one. Once I asked if it's with an extra shot, they replied, "Try it" in quite an arrogant, rude way. Whipped cream was strange, a bit like cottage cheese. Before I reached home, which is 5minutes, coffee sat down to like 2/3 of what it looked like when they gave it to me. That Costa was okay around half a year ago, but now it is completely worthless. If you want to have your frappe done right, better go to other Costa, at least you will have what you order and with much better quality - confirmed.
