The Brass — Restaurant in Teignbridge

I have just had the rudest experience here. My friend laughed and one of the landlords said very loudly that it was a horrible noise!! How rude and insulting! They continued to be rude and insulting until we left. We came here hoping to find a gay friendly pub with a great atmosphere. Not here! This is not my first experience of their rudeness. They were also vile to a friend of mine, a while ago but I just put it down to them being far too drunk in another venue. Apparently not!! I will never drink here again! If you value your self esteem, don't drink here! Vile.....

Edit, thanks for your swift reply! You told our friend that you had made the comment about us and not them. They were also being polite and weren't impressed by your attitudes! Sometimes, people keep their opinions to themselves because they don't want to be rude! Obviously, you never learned...

A huge "Thank you" to Harvie who we met at a bus stop in Torquay when we were looking for a bus to Teignmouth. He told us he worked in Teignmouth at The Brass, gave us directions where to go and what to see in this pretty town and we said we would see him in an hour. We were very impressed with The Brass, Harvie made us very welcome, there were no other customers at the time so he happily chatted whilst I enjoyed Ice Cold cider and a DoomBar ale. Before we knew it we were having more drinks and sampling the tasty filled baps. The pub is spotlessly clean, easy to find , comfortable seating and only 5 min from the sea front. A gem. we joined the throng for a music night during the Folk Festival, so the place was fairly busy. My wife's glass of wine was off - we both tried it - Harvey's Pinot G from a bottle in the chilled cupboard. The manager did not seem to know that bottles can be off! He refused to change the glass & refused to try it himself - or even to try some from the same bottle. not impressed. We would, obviously, not recommebnd The Brass. Food not tried, but it seems you have to tick one...
