The Old Java Coffee House — Restaurant in Teignbridge

Have used the Old Java Coffee House before and have always found it cosy, friendly with staff that are a cut above the rest. Excellent coffee with a great choice of teas (choose Jing teas if you like the "tea experience"). Tables are small but comfortable with a narrow entrance that is just wide enough for a wheelchair. A restroom is available and they are dog friendly (well behaved hounds are preferred). Set just back from the sea-front on a busy little town road it is otherwise an oasis of charm and peace. my partner and i came here today looking for somewhere that can do a decent flat white and we were not disappointed. really good barista coffee with so many options of alternative milk and syrups.

the cafe itself was clean and bright with friendly staff. the service was quick and easy. surprisingly lots of seating inside too!

we also had a panini each which was surprisingly really filling. the rainbow salad was fresh and tasty. we were really impressed with how good everything is here!

not from teignmouth but would 100% come back as not too far! thanks for such a yummy lunch...

Lovely little cafe in Teignmouth, not far from the beach. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Lovely locals. They have a good selection of drinks and lunches. I have enjoyed paninis, jacket potato’s, coffees, tea, hot chocolates and smoothies here! All have been great but I especially recommend the vegan cheese and cranberry panini and the delicious hot chocolate. They’ve always been happy to accommodate me with an allergy and make up a fresh replacement. It’s quite small inside but we have always just been able to get a table. There is wifi...
