Heard brilliant things but not the best experience. Arrived to be told a table will be ready soon so to sit on a bench between two tables. Not ideal as we practically had other customers sat on our laps but fine for the wait for the table. A table came free and we were told that they wouldn't sit us there as they could probably fit more people on the table if they turned up, again not ideal but we were happy to wait until they seated an older couple who were waiting behind us there and completely ignored us. Read moreThe Ferry Boat Inn appears to have had a recent refurbishment, as you walk past it looks really inviting with it's dining area right on Shaldon beach, we thought we'd give their burgers a try after looking through the menu board. Read moreNice view and nice Burger on outdoor. Strongly recommend the crabby bunless Burger w/t mayo which may be the signature dish for the pub. It is quite close to the swcp section before the ferry crossing to Teignmouth for continuing the track to Dawlish.
I love the way I serve without chips, no worries for keto patrons like me...the mini coslaw was a little bit busy,maybe just Cherry tomatoes green salad is enough for me.
