Had fish & chips from here, was easy to find the place as it was covered in awards like his last place in Weymouth when old man pierce had Alfs chip shop, that had awards all over it saying it was the best chip shop in the UK, everyone in Weymouth used to say he printed his own awards, we used to have a good laugh at coffee mornings, remember one lady said the fish she got from Alfs was pink & she couldn't face it so she gave it to the foxs & they wouldn't go near it, piercie used to say if you are local you can have 10 % off, we used to say 100 % off wouldn't be enough for his fish & chips, another old dear said piercies always got that old black jumper on, which is what he was wearing when I went to the jolly...

A quaint little fish & chip shop with a small cozy dining area plus a takeaway, the staff are friendly & accommodating as I was allowed to sit where I wanted even though I was alone, the food is tasty all at a very good price, I ordered the haddock & chips with mushy peas with a mug of coffee, everything was hot, my only disappointment was the fish was thin & the batter wasn't crispy enough in the middle, a little wet & soggy, but I'd prefer that than overcooked, next time I will order the cod though as the fish looked lovely & thick & cooked to perfection, large cod in the cafe is I think, the same price as standard haddock, regardless I can't wait to return when I am next in this beautiful &...
