Caffe Dominic. — Restaurant in Tendring

I could not find a parking space for my normal breakfast places however I stumbled across one out side this establishment. I sadly wish I had driven on and gone hungry. I ordered my breakfast and a cappuccino, the wait was good only 10 mins but I had to enjoy the father and daughter arguing over the daughter shouting the specials to the couple in the far end of the restaurant. I then received my scolded coffee which had little flavour and was far to hot to drink. My breakfast arrived on a stone cold plate my bacon looked the sort that was supermarket brought as thin as you could possibly get (very cheap) and overly creamy scambled eggs (no seasoning and a little to wet). All in all very disappointing for the 10.80 I paid for 2 rashers of bacon, scrambled eggs, beans and a coffee. With the entertainment of shouting and arguing thrown in for free. Would not...

We go to clacton often and have been here quite a few times. Won't revisit after I saw in newspaper about a mother being harassed by staff over breastfeeding. To see the owner also comment that the baby was crying and other customers uncomfortable? Maybe if she was left alone to feed from her mother she wouldn't cry with hunger? Two staff telling her not to breastfeed is disgusting. I was a customer. I will not be...

Not even worth 1 star! Awful cafe and should be ashamed! They don't support breastfeeding mothers or children! To be told you are not allowed to feed your baby is a disgrace it is actually against the law to tell any breastfeeding mother not to feed their baby in a I'm public place. We are protected by LAW to feed our babies when and wherever we wish!
