The burrito alone scores a 5 star, it was delicious. It has clearly been a busy day for the cafe as they had run out of bread for the toasties on the menu, and the tables were not the cleanest. I would go back again to this cafe and on a quieter day I think I would give it 5 stars. I can see why it was so busy though with a good selection of food on the menu, and a nice vibe inside with friendly staff.

After a fun day at Margate. We was heading back we found this little Gem !! Such a nice cosy little place. On arrival we was seated and asked for coffees. The lady came over and placed a huge glass bottle of water on the table, while our order was being made. This was such a nice gesture !!! Really nice place with very fair prices. If you're in Margate. Give this place a try !!!

Visited here on a trip to Margate, and what a lovely little place! Super cozy, chill atmosphere, and extremely friendly staff. Right on the seafront, and a lovely selection of sandwiches. Whilst we were eating our sandwiches, one of the staff came out with a fresh batch of cookies, and they were amazing! Could not recommend this place more, and will definitely be visiting again 💖

Ok... Gonna be completely honest. Truthfully one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. We stayed in Margate last night after seeing Shed Seven at Dreamland. We woke this morning ready for breakfast & decided to try Big Shot Cafe. I realised it was not my kind of place the minute we got through the door but it was raining torrentially & we didn't want to get soaked through so we decided to give it a go. I would describe the place as Shabby, condensation running down the windows, wobbly tables, uncomfortable seats & generally not well kept.. The lady serving was very friendly & made us welcome. We ordered 2 flat whites & sat at the table with a menu. The coffees arrived in 2 espresso sized glasses with no handle, saucer or even a spoon. The coffee was 'Luke warm' at best but tasted OK. The menu wasn't really to my taste but as we were famished we ordered scrambled eggs on sourdough toast with bacon. The next shock was the bill... £31, I should have walked there & then but against my better judgement, I just tapped my card & sat down. No salt, pepper or anything else for that matter on the tables. The grubby, old cutlery was brought to the table in a smeary water tumbler, which was another put off... You can see the cooking area from the cafe & whilst our food was being prepared, the chef was on his smart phone texting or something similar... Also the chef was wearing a dirty pair of Levis, he wore no hair covering & was paying very little attention to preparing our food. The food arrived & unfortunately it was as I suspected it would be... One piece of under toasted sourdough, scrambled eggs which looked ok but the whole thing was swamped in a green pesto & some indecipherable seeds.. I'd payed my money so I was going to try the food although it honestly looked a complete mess.. I'm sorry but it was just not nice at all It tasted nothing like the scrambled eggs on toast that It was displayed on the menu as..

I would urge the management to seriously take a good look at the place & ask themselves if they are providing a good service & value for money? I took one bite & pushed my plate away, my partner ate hers & said it 'wasn't too bad' Is that how you want your customers to describe your food 'Big Shot' ?

So sorry guys, friendly people but terrible service & value for money. 1 star out of 100 & that star is for the friendly welcome. A scathing review I know, but that's how I feel guys.

I've been reading through the reviews & I can't believe that I am clearly in the minority as to my opinion of the cafe.

Could they be writing their...

I hate to be that person who leaves a review with any negatives, but I do feel like I want to feedback my experience. Due to how popular and busy the coffee/cake takeout area was, and how small the building is, having a large group of people in there for a bottomless brunch was just a bit of a nightmare. We were upstairs squeezed into a corner with a constant flow of customers pressed up against us awaiting their takeout coffees. I'm not fussy on how my drinks are served but my friends were very unimpressed when they received proseccos in a large glass tumbler, and also when the food menu was totally different to that available online. We did have to wait 30 mins to receive our first drink which was irritating given that we only had a 1.5hr slot (but I do believe we ran over this time in the end). My only other minor complaint would be that we did not get given a prosecco bottle to keep on the table, we were just given top ups by staff as and when, and the prosecco was warm when served - they also ran out of orange juice after only a short time, we preferred the mimosa option because the prosecco was in all honestly really difficult to drink. Again I feel awful leaving negative feedback because the staff were lovely and very accommodating, but I do think the whole 'bottomless brunch' idea needs revisited as its such a busy and popular place for coffee, overall it just didn't feel like that bottomless brunch experience we had hoped for, especially for the price...

We had brunch here and hugely enjoyed it! The menu is small but varied and all the options were very appealing. They aren't marked on the menu but gluten free options are offered by substituting the bread in most recipes with potato hash. I had the burrito and my partner had the bacon/cheese toastie - both were delicious and well presented.

Big Shot has a super cute mascot shaped like their giant tea mugs, so we picked up one of their collaboration beers and some locally roasted coffee to take home with us. I wish this place was local to us, we'd...
