Cafe G's brilliant staff really make this place a top seaside spot for a light meal or coffee break; the menu is simple but appealing, from toasted panini to salads and snacks. Our family had lunch at one of the outdoor tables on a busy breezy day, and our lovely waitress was smart, tirelessly kind and genuinely thoughtful with all the customers; I'm sorry I didn't get her name, but she was a real superstar, with cool pink hair. We came here around 12pm on a bank holiday Monday. It’s not a large place but all tables were occupied. Service was a little bit slow but not the worst. The chicken burger and kids fish finger meal came out relatively quickly. Chips were really good, fish fingers were a big greasy but my kid didn’t seem to mind. The Greek panini took a while to arrive. It was a very thin slice of pork and a disproportionate amount of olives. It was not pleasant, and even more disappointing because it took so long to come.
