What a delightful discovery! The olive bread is a true gem—utterly delicious and packed with flavour. The quality of the bread overall is phenomenal, clearly made with care and expertise. I was thrilled to spot castagnaccio on offer—a rare and nostalgic treat I’ve only ever found in Italy, made with chestnut flour. I've never lusted after a food until I tasted the tiramisu bun from Madre. I ate it in slo-mo, like the Liv Tyler car wash scene in One Night At McCool's (this is a 2001 reference). I wanted to relive it again and again. I hallucinated about the sheer softness of the the bun and the divinity of the filling.
