FF Kitchen — Restaurant in Trafford

Terrible and not even worth the one star. First, made to wait 20 mins for my coffee with no apology, as people who arrived after me wanting take away coffee were served first...painfully slowly. Next my bacon/cheese omelette arrived and tasted like had been precooked then filled and vaguely warmed up with the cheese not even melted. I waited for my coffee to come (took 5 mins) then started the omelette which was merely warm and cheese filling not even melted. I politely asked for omelette to be reheated and it was returned to me. I joked about the salad but to my horror realised she had heated the whole plate together with the side salad! When questioned, the woman said she could not remove the omelette as she would have to handle it and could not do that (??) but that she had only put it on a low setting to reheat, then she walked away, oblivious to my shock! She exchanged words with the 'cook' who was staring at me mouthing obscenities so I marched up with my plate of lukewarm omelette (it still was not hot after being put in microwave) as well as the hot, wilting salad to complain about: A. his attitude as he was clearly talking about me and giving me filthy looks and shouting over me when I approached him and B. the stupidity of microwaving the salad ...then demanded my money back because I was appalled at his attitude and wanted to leave. At the time I was the only customer in the cafe. He was like a thug, shouting at me then told me I was being rude to his mum (the woman who stupidly heated the salad). I told them they were a pair of idiots running a cafe if they did not have the basic common sense to remove the salad prior to reheating the omelette.. and what kind of 'chef' was he??! I left and the (thuggish son who looked as though a good wash would not go amiss) followed me out and tried to intimidate me, warning me not to go back and that I was barred - AS IF!!! Bad service, poor food and nasty little mummy's boy who cannot even heat through a pre-cooked rubbery omelette base. In short, this place is mediocre-OK so long as you pay your money and shut up! Little boy cannot take any complaint without throwing his dummy out of the pram and trying...

It was really busy (a good sign) but unfortunately we didn’t get to sample any drinks or foods because the woman on the till was so rude. She was prompted by another person in the kitchen to advise us it would be a wait. Fine. I told my friend who had the audacity to enquire how long the wait might be. To be told that if she could get off the till serving us it might be quicker!!! When we called her out on her lack of customer service (we were only trying to order and pay) she was even ruder. You’re clearly in the wrong profession and we can’t wait until Amphora thankfully reopens. A chain cafe got our money this time and we...

This place is great.

Service was excellent and just the right pace. Food was fresh and tasty, great Panini and Egg on toast And on my the milkshakes are sublime. Caramel, Strawberry great, oh but then the Aero Mint was amazing. But to finish things off Nutella, well not sure there are words to describe it.

Every place has to have a USP and for this place fresh it certainly is and milkshakes, well keep up he good work.

One minor thing the smell, get an extractor going more often or air con to freshen things up a bit.
