Franco Manca Trafford Centre Manchester — Restaurant in Trafford

We’re big fans of Franco Manca and were so excited to have lunch at the Trafford Centre branch a few days ago. Unfortunately our experience was a disaster from the beginning. There was just one server on duty and we could tell she had no interest in serving us, maybe because two of us were visibly Muslim and wearing hijab. But she seemed really unhappy that we were there. First she said we had to leave our baby’s pram outside the restaurant; we found this really strange because the restaurant was completely empty save for one table and the pram could have easily fit anywhere, and whenever we eat out we keep the pram with us unless the restaurant is tiny, which Franco Manca is definitely not. Most of the tables were empty; first of all she led us to a table right in the corner, next to the only other table where people were sitting; she said she wanted to seat us close together so it would be easier for her to serve both tables. When we requested a table just a bit further inside the restaurant (due to the noise coming from the Orient) she refused and sat us at another table near the entrance. She literally said, ‘if you sit on the inside, I’ll forget about you.’ Not a minute later a group of people came and sat down at the exact table we had asked for. When we asked the server about it she said they had a reservation, although she had stated before that no tables further inside would be served since she was the only one on duty. Needless to say, we felt extremely unwelcome and decided to leave and eat at the neighbouing Pesto restaurant which was amazing in terms of seating, service and food. The server at Franco Manca seemed annoyed and unhappy with our presence and her attitude was extremely rude and unwelcoming. We won’t be visiting Franco Manca Trafford again and will recommend our friends and family to stay...

Franco Manca at the Trafford Centre truly delivers when it comes to amazing food and exceptional service. The pizza was absolutely delicious with that perfect sourdough base and fresh toppings that hit all the right notes. This was my second visit and once again I was blown away. The first time I came I received what I would call A ⭐️ service and this time it was even better — A star star service.

What really made this visit special was our server Lily. She was the absolute star of the show. From the moment we arrived she greeted us with the warmest smile and her friendly welcoming demeanor instantly made us feel at home. She was attentive kind and genuinely hospitable. It felt like she went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying every part of our meal. She truly elevated the whole dining experience and made it memorable for both me and my sister.

I would highly recommend this place if you love a good pizza and appreciate great service. Franco Manca Trafford Centre is not just about fantastic food but also about people like Lily who make you want to come back again and again. Loved it. Can’t wait for...
