Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations, which added to the overall dining experience. While there was a slight delay during the dinner rush, the staff remained courteous and professional. The highlight of Pesto is undoubtedly its food. The menu features a variety of Italian dishes, with an emphasis on fresh ingredients and bold flavors. We started with the classic garlic bread, which was perfectly toasted and generously topped with fresh herbs. For the main course, the pesto pasta was a standout—tender pasta tossed in a vibrant, homemade basil pesto that was rich without being overwhelming. The portion sizes were generous, ensuring you leave satisfied. The pizza options were equally impressive, with a thin, crispy crust and an array of toppings that cater to both traditional and adventurous palates. Dessert is a must; the tiramisu was light, creamy, and the perfect end to our day trip Prices at Pesto are reasonable, considering the quality of the food and the overall experience. Read morebeen here a few times but this was my last. As soon as me and my group sat down the waiter told us we had to order soon as the kitchen was about to close, but if it was closing why accept us in the first place? Then a waiter took our orders put it through the till and came back to double check all the food was correct as we were a group of 9, everything was correct apart from a dish that was missing but then the waiter went to the kitchen and supposedly told the chef about the missing dish. Everyone’s food came and that one dish that was missing hadn’t come with the rest of the food so we called the same waiter and he said he would check the kitchen, everyone starts to eat and the dish still hadn’t arrived, by this time everyone was practically finished and we called the waiter to check were the missing dish was as it had been well over 15 mins for ONE small dish, the waiter proceeded to head to the kitchen then came to our table and said look about your dish would you still like it as our kitchen is closing and blah blah blah, like how can one even have the balls to come back asking that? with that being said the dish was no longer wanted as it felt as although if the person who’s dish it was for still wanted it to be made the kitchen staff would of probably spat in it because it seemed like they weren’t bothered. As a group we just felt like they just couldn’t wait to close the restaurant and go home which I mean makes us customers feel unwanted not to mention we came to celebrate a birthday so that’s just the cherry on top cause I mean we could tell they didn’t want to serve us but anyway. Will not be returning as the service has really gone downhill personally I think we could have been handled with a little more respect, did not pay service charge because the service was not the best. Will not be returning and would not and will not...
Read moreWe went to Pesto yesterday and the experience was very poor, I would not return to a pesto restaurant again. We got advised that the wait time for food was 35 minutes, as they was very busy. Our starter then came out which was the meat balls, only to find when I cut in to the meatballs they was pink inside and clearly hadn't been cooked for long enough. I then brought this to the attention of a manger, who then claimed they had been probed and they was cooked properly, it was just because they use a mix of pork and beef, hence the pink. I disagreed. I have cooked with mince that has been 50% pork and beef and mine have never been pink. So she the offered to change it. I then tried the beef stew which tasted like a whole tub of salt had been put in it. I also tried some mushroom and mozzarella risotto which was bland and had no flavour to. At this point I had given up and stopped eating as the food was appalling. My sons glass of juice also came out warm and given how hot it was in the Trafford centre, he at three years old, asked me and his dad for a cold drink so I had to send it back and ask for a new one to be made. £58 spent and I may have well of thrown it away given the waste of experience we had in this restaurant. I really advise people to avoid here as they seem to rush getting the food out at busy periods, and everything tastes either bland with no flavouring or they make things far too salty. I could have made these dishes at home and they would have tasted so...
