Bottega Prosecco Bar Stansted Airport — Restaurant in Uttlesford

I recently visited the champagne bar at the airport and I have to say that it was a wonderful experience. The ambiance was classy and inviting, with comfortable seating that made it the perfect spot to relax before a flight. The staff was friendly and attentive, and they truly went out of their way to make sure that I had everything I needed.I should here mention one of the staff name : Oxana :)

The menu had a fantastic selection of champagne and other cocktails , along with a variety of delicious snacks and appetizers. I ordered a glass of their significant cocktail “Bottega Spritz” and it was absolutely delicious – crisp and refreshing with just the right amount of bubbles. I also tried their aperitif small plates”grissini wrapped in prosciutto” , which was a perfect snack to pair with my drink.

Overall, I had a great experience at “Bottega champagne bar”at the airport and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a relaxing and enjoyable pre-flight experience. I recently visited Bottega Bar at Stansted Airport, and while the food and atmosphere were quite good, the service left much to be desired. Unfortunately, our server, Ash (1039), displayed a lack of basic courtesy and attentiveness that impacted the overall experience. From the start, there was no “please” or “thank you,” and it felt as though our requests were ignored or forgotten.

When we asked for the drinks menu, it took 15 minutes for her to come back, only to be told there wasn’t one available. Later, when we asked for the bill, she simply put the machine down without a word and walked off without even offering a receipt, which we had to call her back for. Her manners were lacking throughout, making us feel more like an inconvenience than guests.

It’s a shame because the food and setting were nice, but service like this can really detract from an otherwise pleasant experience. Maybe the service industry is not the right...

If you just want to be cocooned in a little moment of luxury, away from the general bustle & noise of the Airport, then this bar is definitely for you. Offering of course a magnificent taste of Prosecco & mouthwatering food (I did not eat but nearby dishes looked appealing) this haven is just so inviting. The staff are EXCELLENT - welcoming, efficient, very friendly & always attentive to their customers' needs. This is now my go-to bar at Stansted. 5*

Visited again on Sunday 9th February 2025 at 11h45 and again, what a glorious pause after a stressful Stansted Express journey!! Was welcomed with a smile and nothing-is-too-much-trouble attitude. Did not eat (no time) but as before, enjoyed a glass of Rosé Prosecco & felt as though time stood still.
