Posh Nosh — Restaurant in Vale of White Horse

Ordered online, took well over an hour to arrive - Wouldn't be so much of an issue if not for the following....

Opening a LARGE mixed kebab (priced at £10) for there to be 4 strips of doner meat, and 4 chunks of spicy chicken. My child is allergic to some chilli powders so it's a good thing he didn't try it before me - That could have actually killed him!)

A bit backwards... the pitta bread was burned and the chicken was raw in the middle (second count of potentially making someone severely ill!)

The chips were sat in a puddle of what I hope was water...

Called the restaurant repeatedly but couldn't get through, so my husband went back to explain the situation and ask them to please remake the food. Upon arriving, the smell in the shop was enough to put us off the food in an instant!

The staff accused him of being a liar, said they refuse to recook the meal, shouted at him, and then the MANAGER of all people told him 'you're not getting a penny until you bring MY food back!'

We gladly obliged and they THEN decided to shout at my husband that they don't want our business again - Gladly, I wouldn't eat from this dump if THEY paid me!!

Got a Donna from them. Unfortunately I asked for the kebeb chilli sauce. Imagine you have just taken load of tomatoes and chillies, to make a sauce, and put them through a sieve, to filter out all the seeds and skins, and have in to bottom of the sieve all the seeds, skins, and dry bits, that need to go in the bin. THAT is their kebab sauce, the seeds, skins and bits that are left over after making a sauce. It's not a sauce, it's a slightly damp tomato skin & seed mix with chilli. I did try it, it had no flavour, at all, though it was a bit hot. I got home, and shook the kebab upside down over my sink, and the sauce fell out like damp sand from a shaken sock after a day on the beach.

Next. Staff personal hygiene, or lack their-of.....

They were stood behind the counter eating ckicken wraps they had just made for their dinner, and, guess what, they made my kebab, while eating their food and licking their fingers, and no hand washing in between. 😱

Thanks, I really wanted a kebeb with added saliver as you ate and made my food at the same time, fingers licked while you ate and made my kebeb.

My 1st, and last visit. Deserving of minus stars. Poor food, and...

Just had a delivery from posh nosh consisting of cold chips, cold chicken wrap. We phoned straight away to say how we had received the delivery and the person that answered the phone argued that the food was delivered in a hot bag!!! My husband went to the delivery drivers car and was handed the delivery in a brown paper bag which the driver just collected off his car seat. We are now awaiting for our cash to be returned and the cold food collected. We are still waiting for the drivers return and will be contacting trading standards if its not done. We have always paid cash as requested. Wont order from them again as aggressive and rude. The last order again paid in cash was luke warm but a pizza meal so not such a worry as a chicken meal. Having had food poisoning through chicken it is not something i would like to risk repeating as i ended up...
