Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Wakefield

Really Costa, shame on you!!! call yourself a coffee shop, it's bad enough you replaced the rewards system that was in place, but it would actually be nice to be able to get one, this is the third time I've called at this particular Costa an there has been no decaf coffee. My rewards are going to run out before I endup getting one at this rate!! call yourselves a coffee shop, the tables needed clearing an your poor staff looked like they were running round looking so harassed, the assistant that served me was also serving other people through the headset, which I found very rude as she was talking to me taking my order and I'm assuming taking drive through orders aswell to which I was then asked to wait a second before she carried on with my order, which she then forgot had to ask me my order again an it still wasn't right, they are doing far too much. .. Get some stock but above all get some staff... Not impressed I feel so sorry for the staff at this...

Plenty of options on the menu board in drive thru but nothing much was actually available, the girl speaking on the intercom seemed flustered and confused and kept repeating our order back to us wrongly. Our order was still wrong when we got to the window so had to wait ages for it to be prepared correctly causing a long queue of cars behind us. Sitting in the car I was faced with a disgusting toastie, no grilled melted cheese on the outside, one slice of bread not even toasted, one thin slice of fatty ham inside and some white stuff which was supposed to be cheese but looked like spread or mayo..... not the tasty Costa toastie I had expected or been used to before Covid!!! It went straight in the bin. Why have standard's dropped Costa, this is the 2nd poor toastie in a row. I am a Costa devotee (or was) but I won't be going again to waste my money on such awful food which wasn't even...

I have been here many many times and not a had a problem at all whilst the coffee is good and food is great the staff leave so much to be desired. You cannot take a table until you have ordered coffee which is absolutely valid but I do not appreciate the way it was snapped at a member of my party (4 in total) once ordered drinks there was no where to sit for a party of 4 as the offender previously mentioned sat a single person on the table of 4. When ordering the coffees the guy said to me are you drinking in or out when i suggested take out cups as there is no inside tables he just said you can sit outside well cleat need take out cups then. I'm not usually one to complain if I don't have something good to say I don't say it. I won't use this Costa again I am not a child and don't appreciate being treated like...
