Change of name from Ruby Lous to The Patio I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Patio, and I can confidently say it's a hidden gem in the city. The food was absolutely delicious, with each dish bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. The menu offers a wide variety of options, ensuring there's something to satisfy every palate. The cleanliness of the restaurant is impeccable, creating a pleasant and hygienic dining atmosphere. The staff were fantastic – friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to ensure a great experience for all guests. One of the standout aspects of The Patio is its cost-effectiveness. Despite the high quality of the food and service, the prices are very reasonable, making it an excellent choice for both casual meals and special occasions. Moreover, The Patio goes above and beyond in accommodating everyone, including people with special needs. The restaurant is fully accessible, and the staff are trained and ready to assist with any specific requirements. Overall, The Patio is a wonderful place to enjoy a meal. With its delectable food, pristine environment, superb staff, and inclusive approach, it truly offers an exceptional dining experience. Highly recommended!

This is a brilliant little restaurant/pub !!! I have gone here many years and the staff are always welcoming and so friendly. The food is always fresh and homemade and it always tastes amazing. The prices are reasonable and you get quality food for a good price. There's lots of options and they have gorgeous puddings too. I would recommend Ruby Lou's to anyone and everyone. Please support this little business

The people are lovely, but the cafe is not. It is very cheap, but it is cheap and nasty. The seats are dirty and the food is very poor. Bacon sandwiches are 1/3 fat and jacket potatoes come with cheap mozzarella cheese, not cheddar. Both were very bland and we felt sick afterwards. Don't recommend.

Been here a fair few times with my wife and with the family and have always enjoyed it! Especially love the pie. I wish that was the end of this review, but sadly when my wife and I tried coming in for something to eat and drink today, we were asked to leave because we had some almost empty coffees from elsewhere with us. Very disappointed as we'd been looking forward to it. We have taken our money to another restaurant now who welcomed us, coffees and all! In future I'd rethink your attitude towards customers, especially repeat customers who were about to spend money on a meal. Not sure if we'll return, but we will definitely tell our family and friends about...

Let me just start by saying that the food was alright but the fact that one of the staff kicked my daughters high chair causing her to rock side to side not once but twice caused me some concern, she also lifted another highchair over my daughters head (9 months) which startled her :( she then got in my daughters face as we were having dinner and started shouting coo's at her causing her to cry, the place was also filthy! Leftover egg on the floor and the high chair was disgusting, had to clean it myself. Won't...
