Ordered a takeaway for 7 mains and a soup last night.
Front of house staff were kind and apologetic, but it took a lonnggg 45minutes for us to get our food. They originally told us 8:30pm to pick up our food so we hung about in the Lidl opposite for half an hour. They said they'd call us to let us know when it was ready, but they didn't call so we went back in to wait around 8:25pm. They apologised and told us it would be another 15 minutes more, so we had no choice but to wait. Whilst waiting, we could see that they only had one lady cooking all the noodle dishes with three woks on three different hobs.
When we got home and finally got to eat, we found all the noodles tasted very bland; almost like they'd forgotten to add the main part of the sauce for the noodle dishes. The tom yum soup was also barely sour and was only very lightly spicy. Unfortunately contrary to our hopes, the flavours were not at all authentic. Read moreService was appallingly slow considering there was one other table in other than ours on a mid week night. The food took 55 mins from ordering to arrive at the table, we were about ready to walk out by this stage.
That being said, once the food did finally arrive it was of good quality and reasonable portion size for the money.
I would have given an extra star if the staff acknowledged the extensive wait but nothing was said an no apology...
