Butchers Arms — Restaurant in Wales

Extremely disappointed with the new regime. Arrived at the bar to find a number of very young barstaff. When we were served we were asked TWICE what we wanted to drink. Then when we handed the young girl a £20 note she took it from us, put it in the till and walked away to continue to chat with one of the other barmaids. We had to regain her attention to request our change as our two drinks cost much less than the £20 note which we gave her. She reluctantly gave us our change but seemed unfazed by her appalling attitude and dreadful service. We sat down,drank our drinks and left to go to the Masters where both the service and ambiance are far superior. We shall not be visiting this pub...

One of Cardiff's olde brains pubs, situated at the top end of Llandaff Village High Street, The Butchers Arms has a regular flow of locals & serves good beer. A nice addition to this pub, is the sporting memorabilia decorating the walls. You can enjoy your pint while looking at the famous past rugby players, with the likes of Gareth Edwards. Appalling experience tonight where I returned a flat pint, barmaid refused to change pint as she would "get in trouble", fact= pint of hpa was flat as bath water, she refused to change. been drinking in village for 30+ years but she knew best, now under new management, me and group won't be going back again, their loss, their closure ! dreadful experience, black lion and malsters arms much more pleasant experience, avoid this pub if you want poor customer experience, I kid you not! ...
