I booked afternoon tea here for my sisters hen party. It's a lovely little place which offers vegetarian and vegan options. They allowed one of us to pop up early and put a few simple decorations up. The afternoon tea was really lovely! The vegan option was great! Really enjoyed everything on there, also they had vegan hot chocolate and whip! The only cons where not super friendly via email (how i booked), it was a bit on the cool side inside there (I like to be warm) and they didn't come around to check drinks after they brought the food, we had to go find someone for extra drinks. Even with the cons, still really nice experience with friendly staff and the food was really lovely. I would return and recommend.

We’ve had a few afternoon teas delivered at home from Jaspers and they’ve always been lovely. A nice selection of sandwiches and cakes (these include macarons, mini Welshcakes, white chocolate covered strawberries, scones with clotted cream and little lots of jam, amongst others). When I’ve ordered an afternoon tea, Jaspers have always asked about dietary requirements, which is helpful. I’ve also visited the tearooms in Llandaf village, opposite the old Bishop’s Palace, for a pot of tea and cakes. A really nice selection of cakes at the counter (you order at the counter), it’s difficult to choose! The tearooms are lovely to visit because they’re so quaint. The artwork on the walls is nice too.

My wife and 2 teen daughters visited recently, we ordered Corned Beef Pie, Welsh Rarebit, Brie & cranberry Panini and a Jacket spud with beans. .......all utterly delicious. The service was polite , prompt and warm. Jaspers is so cosy it's little rooms adorned with local art ( which can be purchased ) also a view of a derelict Monks Castle left dormant after a visit in 1400s by an angry Owain Glyndwr. Jaspers is a hidden gem in Cardiff .Well worth a visit even if you not local.

Had a lovely afternoon tea today with our baby. We requested the vegetarian option and all sandwiches and cakes were delicious - including the cutest Welsh Cake we’ve ever seen! Staff were friendly and attentive, and our drinks were refilled too. Parking is limited on the high street (1hr free parking Monday to Saturday, no restrictions on Sunday). Very clean toilets too with a baby changing table. Definitely recommend!

We ordered coffee and cake to go. There looked to be a nice selection of cakes on offer but I went for the chocolate chip shortbread which was very nice. The coffee however wasn’t I’m afraid and was extremely weak tasting to the point where I threw half of mine away. I feel like if the coffee was improved then they may get a lot more customers as other reviews I see also comment likewise.
