If you like waiting forever or watching online delivery men being prioritised over in-shop customers and pick up orders, and if you don't mind letting your children go hungry and irritable whilst so, I'd recommend this place but please make sure you take your own snacks and drink for the long wait, and preferably pillows, in case you fall asleep. Worst customer service, inconsiderate or rather inefficient staff!! Sorry, unable to leave feedback on food as we were served none for over a ln hour until we had to leave with a refund. Do yourself a favour and pick a different spot if you can, there're plenty on city road.

NB: As you can see from the owner's response below, all they could come up with is a stock reply. And, why would I bother to email them all these details in the first place is beyond me.

Haven't you taken enough of our time already, and it's funny Mr Owner, you want us to provide you with an order number, date and time and store location. Can you please post here what you intend to do with all that information, and give us a good reason why we should do that.

Atleast acknowledge the problem and admit that one of your stores prioritised online orders, and own up responsibility for treating your...

If you’re craving comfort in a cup and flavors that transport you straight to the streets of India, this place is a gem. The chai is nothing short of perfection — rich, spiced just right, and brewed with so much care that you can taste it in every sip. It’s the kind of chai that warms you from the inside out and makes you want to linger over a second (or third!) cup.

And then there’s the street food. Bursting with flavor, texture, and freshness, every bite feels like a celebration. From crispy, golden bites that crackle with spice to tangy, savory snacks that hit all the right notes, the menu is full of standouts. Everything tastes authentic, vibrant, and made with love.

The atmosphere makes the experience even better — welcoming, lively, and filled with the aroma of chai spices and sizzling snacks. Whether you’re popping in for a quick pick-me-up or planning to sit back and savor, this spot makes you feel right at home.

An absolute must-visit for chai lovers, foodies, or anyone looking to brighten their day with something delicious. I can’t wait...

One of the most popular Indian cafés in Cardiff. Maintains the same style and quality that’s offered in all the chaiwala outlets across the country. The outlet has a good dining space with good ambience, and is well decorated. The staffs are also hospitable and friendly. When it comes to food and beverages - there’s a lot of Indian options on the menu, from different varieties of teas to cakes to sweets to rolls. My favourites include Karak Chaii, Karak coffee, Pink chai, Chocolate mousse cake, Pink chai cake, Chicken ayilla Roll etc. The outlet can get crowded very often, especially during weekends. However, the service is comparatively quick. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ambience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ menu options ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ value for money Verdict: One among the best Indian eateries - lives up to its hype.

I really loved the chaiwallq concept. They have a great variety of food and drink selections available and they are good at what they do! The desi breakfast and the bun omelette were extremely delicious. Make sure to try out the omelette since it has spices added to it making it very unique. The paratha, chicken tikka sandwich and the chilli chips butty are all items I really enjoyed. I tried the mango falooda and didn’t really enjoy it since it was just sweet and didn’t have too much mango flavour but bar that everything else was enjoyable. The logo chips are a great snack too for those who have never tried it. Highly recommend anyone looking for a good breakfast or brunch!
