Was really excited to try this restaurant but we were very disappointed. Both pasta dishes were so bland, the tomato sauce seemed like it was watered down since it didn’t have any flavour, the mince in the bolognaise was also bland and gritty, the meatballs had a very odd flavour. It was just something we could’ve made at home but worse. The pizza was very delicious and I would come again for that but my friends didn’t want to eat and went hungry. The drinks were lovely, no complaints there. The service was a bit strange; seemed a bit disorganised and the atmosphere just felt a bit uncomfortable. Whenever we looked up, there was someone at the open kitchen staring over. We felt a bit rushed to pay and get out at one point, but then we asked for a minute to figure out how to split our bill, but then the waitress didn’t come back over even though she saw us waiting. We also had two different waiters come over and ask if we wanted desserts and we’d already said no to the first. And my friend ordered a soft drink that came in a bottle and the waiter poured the drink into a glass that already had water in it. He noticed because he then bought an extra glass but in my opinion, my friend should’ve been given a fresh drink. At an Italian restaurant, I expect the pizza and pasta options to both be acceptable, and for the price we paid, the food and service was definitely a let down....

A lovely family run Italian restaurant located in the restaurant area in St David's Centre This is not a typical chain restaurant and is run by Tonino who is from Sicily and this is his only restaurant in the UK Tonino prides himself on only using the finest and freshest Italian ingredients which is reflected in the delicious meals served There is an extensive menu with several specials and daily deals all offering excellent value and the desserts are scrumptious and there is also a good selection of fine wines. Tonino is lovely friendly man as are all his staff who provide everybody with a warm and friendly welcome and great service and this is a great place to enjoy your meal maybe with a glass ( or bottle ) of fine win as the hustle and bustle of this busy area go by We are regular visitors to this restaurant and always enjoy the welcome and experience immensely We highly recommend it Jeff & Karen

Revisited December 15th 2023 We haven't been here for a while but we certainly were not disappointed with our experience Our meals of Tender Chicken Strips and Calamari followed by Lasagne and Seafood Pasta and super creamy Tiramasu to finish of were quite simply delicious The staff are as warm and friendly as ever and create a lovely atmosphere We still love this place and cannot recommend it highly enough Jeff &...

We went along last night with a groupon and in all honesty, weren't expecting much from a small, shopping mall Italian cafe.

The positive experience began with a phone call to the restaurant during the day. We were concerned that our groupon voucher had allowed us to book 30 mins before closing. We were assured that we would not be turfed out despite the 'doors closing' and could sit, relax and enjoy our meal; book an earlier slot or simply turn up earlier than planned.

On arrival the FOH staff were very friendly and courteous and advised us well on the separate groupon menu as well as a separate offer they had on pizza & pasta.

The food was absolutely fantastic, we paid an extra pound for mozzarella on the garlic bread and for a portion of mozzarella sticks, and by no means were disappointed! Each course was delicious, and the portions were such that we had to take a little pasta home - for which the restaurant provided not only a takeaway container buy a bag, napkins, disposable cutlery and a little tub or parmesan!

We would certainly recommend a visit to this unassuming eatery and hope to go back soon. Thank...

Props to the chef. It was busy when we visited and he smashed it! Everyone on our table of 8 enjoyed what they had In terms of service, some improvements can be made. The main guy seemed to have a stick up his butt and one waitress who served us was really nice but made a few mistakes, one of which was forgetting to put my drink order through I didn't mind the mistake, these things happen, but she did forget to put through one of the starters and failed to put through one of the adjustments someone wanted on their meal (my partner wanted to add mushrooms to her pizza, didn't happen) When I asked the waiter in charge about my drink he got it, and instead of simply apologising, he said that it had not been ordered. I don't like this. I find it unprofessional. Service is not a blame game, you simply apologize to the customer and provide them with the thing they asked for, don't throw your team under the bus Overall we would definitely visit again, as the food was good. Many of us really enjoyed the pizza. The tiramisu was good too.
