Always love coffee n Costa is not a bad place to go for quick one. I like this place coz of their friendly n great service. Cool n attentive staff providing great n fast service. Coffee is always good with their sandwiches. Nice friendly atmosphere. Everyone was enjoying their time n coffee in their own way. All I didn’t like is 1 toilet causing long queue like in Lidl 😝. Otherwise its nice place for cosying urself in this cold.

Large bright and airy, that sums this place up really. Great disabled access too. Excellent staff very friendly and welcoming. Lots of indoor seating. The food is not very much more than Greggs price wise but way better quality you can't go wrong.

Went in early morning for coffee and something to eat. Requested large cappucino and white toast. Got large Americano! The man behond the counter onsisted i had asked for Americano when i knew perfectly well i had requested cappucino. Kept insisting that was what i had asked for and i was equally as adamant that i had asked for cappucino. As it happened a gentleman who was to my left waiting to be served confirmed to myself and the barista thaT i had requested cappucino NOT Americano. With a very bad attitude the barista then made me what i had requested and informed me he would bring my toast over to my table, which he did, over toasted and with butter so cold i could not spread it on the toast. I managed one piece but it was so dry i left the second slice. Whilst waiting for my coffee i noticed that the area of the machine was not very clean with milk all over. The barista was obviously under pressure as he was the only person there to serve BUT his attitude was not good towards me when his error was pointed out to him by an independent witness. It has always been one of my favourites the Chepstow Costa but not after that experience. This needs loking at and sorting. As an addendum, i did pay the extra money for the capucino although i noticed that the barista left the extra cash plus the unwanted/unrequested coffee on the counter for some reason and was heard to offer it to another customer. Not for me now the Chepstow Costa. Not a...

Having recently moved to the area and had no wifi for a couple of weeks, I asked the manager (Maxine I believe) if she minded me working out of her coffee shop. She was extremely understanding and couldn't have been more inviting. Her and the team have welcomed me every day, are always smiling, offer to watch my belongings when I need the toilet and couldn't really be more lovely. As I camp out most of the day, I'm very conscious of taking up space when it gets busy, but whenever I offer to leave and come back, they always tell me it's not necessary and I can stay as long as I like, as long as the wifi holds up (which it always does).

Being an ex-coffee shop manager, I can see how hard this team works and the service they provide every customer. I make sure to purchase items throughout the day and eat lunch here each time... which is adding to my waistline, but it's the least I can do.

Really pleased to have chosen this coffee shop to work from, as we are getting to know more and more staff and also visit on weekends with the kids.

Thanks Costa...

A regular Costa user.

We went there at around 1430hrs on a sunny Saturday, and even though there were on 3 people in the queue in front of me I still had to wait 20 minutes to be served as behind the counter was chaotic with what appeared to be every surface cover in dirty cups and the like. Outside was no better as all of the tables had not been cleared and my wife had to clear one to make soom space for us, and whilst we were there for the 50 or so minutes no one came out to clear up any of the tables or the dozens of napkins that were blowing around in the doorway.

Shame...
