Please don’t judge this place by the plastic windbreak out front or the slightly unassuming exterior — The Courtyard Cafe in Llangollen is an absolute delight and deserves a queue down the street.
The food is good, old-school comfort — cottage pie, lasagne, paninis, jacket potatoes (with great vegetarian versions of all of the above!) — the kind of things you think you could make at home, but somehow never this well.
