I've eaten here twice now, as a non local. The last two times I've visited Cardiff now I've eaten from this place and I've got to say, the flavours are phenomenal. The first time I took food away, the second I ate in. I'm a huge fan of spicy food and when I looked up chicken in the area this place immediately piqued my interest with the pictures I saw online and the good reviews. Having tried the mild, medium and hot chicken across my two visits, I can advise that the mild chicken has a significant kick, the medium is quite spicy and the hot is a challenge for those who are formidably acquainted with really hot food. What stands out the most to me is the seasoning has a great combo of a savoury hot flavour with an underlying sweetness that makes me want to take another bite even if I'm having a little struggle with the heat. The hot honey dip and the cheese sauce both make for wonderful accompaniments. The Texas toast is a fantastic palate cleanser for those who don't want the spice to linger too long. No doubt going to make this place a tradition of my trips into Cardiff. The staff are lovely and make an effort to let you know that the options will probably have more kick than what you may be used to, and you can tell they've put a lot of hard work and research into cultivating a unique and delicious experience. I was impressed that my last order was remembered even if I last came here 3-4 weeks ago. I only wish there were more places like this around the UK.

Always consistent delicious authentic Nashville chicken! An absolute gem in the food industry! I hope you expand soon (I also don’t because I feel expansion sometimes is the downfall of the quality of food produced, as a foodie I feel Iv seen it time and time again, however what I would do to have a fowl and fury local! Honestly incredible food time and time again! I’d like to add to help, this food is HOT! And I would say I have a pretty high tolerance, but mild is hot but it’s danm right delicious, so if you’re a newbie with the mind frame of I like hot and all sure of yourself I’d recommend starting at a mild. The staff are always quick, and chatty! The step in the shop still gets me every now and again because I forget about it even though there’s a sign. 😂 The fries? OUT OF THIS WORLD! Crispy crinkly chips, THE PICKLES! Insane. I’m writing this review around 2 months after my last fowl and fury, I came to check if it was open on a bank holiday and it’s not, however I thought! I love this place it deserves a fantastic review. P.s please come to Glastonbury 😂

Absolutely banging little chicken shack in the mist of a fast food mini village (I'm not from Cardiff but there are like 30 takeaways all nearby) Couldn't decide what to eat one night and stumbled across this place online so thought it would be worth a visit and I was I right ! Menu really simple, staff really friendly and the food is delicious 😋 I opted for a chicken burger and chips, I'm not really a carb man so should of gone for the tenders but it was mega, the chicken was massive and flavoursome, not joking about the heat of this place, take it easy, I reluctantly went for medium on advice of the server and it was just right for me but I'm a vindaloo man, a group of lads on the table next to me had mild and were sweating buckets😂 Portion size was brill, tenders looked massive and cheap too! Deffo worth a visit, its rated as one of the best for a reason, staff are super friendly too, can't wait for it to be a chain😋

My recent experience at Foul and Fury was, unfortunately, one of the most disappointing dining experiences I've had. While the food was decent, the customer service completely overshadowed everything else, turning what could have been an enjoyable evening into an unpleasant ordeal.

We spent around £100 on food, so it’s not as if we weren’t supporting the business. However, the drinks at the restaurant were grossly overpriced, so we opted to bring our own after realizing this. When we began enjoying the drinks we brought, we were abruptly told by the owner that external drinks weren’t allowed. I understand that restaurants often have policies like this, but the way the situation was handled was completely unprofessional and, frankly, rude.

Rather than politely explaining the rule, the owner chose to escalate the situation, claiming that it was “disrespectful” to drink external beverages on the premises. While he painted himself as the victim in this scenario, he overlooked the broader context: we had already spent a significant amount on food, and not everyone can afford to pay the extortionate prices set for drinks.

What made it worse was the tone and attitude. Instead of showing empathy or understanding, the owner’s remarks felt like an attempt to undermine me personally, implying that my financial constraints were the issue rather than their sky-high pricing. This level of condescension is unacceptable in any hospitality setting.

Overall, while the food was fine, the service left a sour taste that no meal could salvage. If Foul and Fury is serious about building a loyal customer base, they need to rethink their approach to both pricing and customer relations. Until then, I wouldn’t recommend dining here unless you’re prepared to pay through the nose for the privilege of basic...

I am absolutely appalled by the disgraceful experience I had at this restaurant. After spending over £100, we were treated with utter contempt by the owners for something as insignificant as finishing a drink I had purchased elsewhere. The way we were spoken to was shocking—we were made to feel like criminals and were even refused further service.

The atmosphere in this place is toxic, and it’s clear the owners care more about squeezing every last penny out of their customers than offering a decent dining experience. Their attitude was hostile and completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, there was an unsettling sense of discrimination in how we were treated. Before we even entered, we were aggressively informed about their "rules," yet a customer of Welsh origin was allowed to walk in without so much as a word.

This was hands down one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. I won’t be returning, and I strongly urge others to steer clear of this awful establishment. There are plenty of better places to spend your money where you’ll actually be treated...
