We celebrated our friend's daughter birthday here and boy I am hooked! A very nice treat indeed!
An asian (japanese/chinese) restaurant that is savory with a big portions. Not ur typical oily and greasy chinese food. Its very flavorful from starters to main course and 1 dish serves 2-3 persons (depends on how foodie u are😉).
We we're shocked by how big 1 dish is, it's our first time and we ended up cancelling some dish. We shared and enjoyed the food like a family.
Starters are amazing and we're already full by the time the mains arrived. Our server is only one person but we are impressed coz she is a multitasker, she is very buay but still never forgets to smile and communicates with the guests.
Waiting time for the food is okay coz we ordered a lot. We were advised to have an advanced order coz we are a big group.
Never had a chance to take a photo of the mains as we are excited to try it.
I strongly recommend to try this while you are here. We are from leeds and every weekend we travel here and I cannot wait to order again, I'm craving for the...
Read moreExcellent food. Very fresh and friendly service. We ordered: Won ton soup, seafood and tofu soup, salt and pepper squid, prawn toast, Special duck noodles, seafood and tofu claypot (sichuan style), spicy noodle soup with slow cooked beef, noodle soup with fried chicken, and Special beef noodles.
All the food was very fresh, and very tasty. Each soup was made with its own base and was very authentic. The slow cooked beef was very tender , indeed all the meet was cooked very well. If were trying to find a fault it was that the squid was a little too salty.
The service was friendly although a little slow (25 minutes for mains). However our host explained that since things were slow since the most recent covid restrictions relaxation, they were making all items to order. There were two Chinese pairs at the other tables (always a good sign)
We would 100% recommend for fresh authentic...

Food comes out the kitchen really fast (6-8 min), which makes one wonder how can anything that is made to order be prepared in such time. In addition, prices are high for the portion sizes and the quality of the food. Both Noodle One and Ling's Restaurant which are at the side and diagonal to this restaurant offer way better food for a more suitable price range. However, one good aspect is the environment of the restaurant, as it is nice and comfortable, with service being fast and casual. All in all, the place offers the potential to be a really good restaurant, but I believe that restaurants around this one are better...
