One of the most uncomfortable dining experiences I've ever had. Arrived about 2030 with table of 6. Waitress pushed two tables together for us and we sat with menus.

After about 5 minutes a different party were leaving. One of the guests announced angrily to all the restaurant that he'd been ripped off and that he wouldn't recommend us staying. The manager escorted him out arguing loudly about the guest's experience. After the guests in question left the manager came to our table and apologized, told us the guest had demanded freebies because the service had been slow. We said we understood and assumed the guest had too much to drink/a chip on his shoulder.

After a while we ordered. We didn't have enough cutlery on the table so asked for some to be brought over. After 30 minutes no starters no cutlery. They had been busy but restaurant was thinning out by this point and you could just feel something was wrong with the vibe.

When the waitress brought our starters she was visibly upset about something, choked up whilst putting out starters on the table and then went outside crying.

One of our party went out to try and console her. The waitress was summoned back in, and after a brief discussion with the manager she got her bag and walked out in tears. In awkward silence we ate our starters then mains came out straightaway with cutlery being dried off as it came to the table.

I don't know what went on but it felt very much like everyone working there was struggling and the manager was bullying this waitress out of frustration when she clearly needed help.

Our mains came and the food was good. Not amazing but good

By this point nobody felt like staying for long so we asked for the bill. The chef came and took out payment (?) as manager had disappeared by this point. Chef told us appropo of nothing that 2 staff had walked out that day. Whilst we were eating/paying a couple on another table walked out as nobody had served them.

As paying customers we should not have been exposed to any of this. The whole thing stank of bad management and it was a very unpleasant, hostile atmosphere.

Could have been a wholly better and different experience had it been handled better. Sometimes you have to wait sometimes things go wrong I get it. But as customers we do need to feel like guests at a hospitality venue not like we are at the centre of a dysfunctional...

Returned for a family birthday meal last night, & left exceptionally disappointed. Two of the five of us ordered mojitos which, when they arrived, were splashes of clear rum in warm tap water with some mint & a couple of begrudged slivers of ice. We asked for them to be replaced - & they came back exactly the same except made with dark rum. When we asked again for actual mojitos, the manager made them himself & really they weren't much better, but we were too embarrassed to ask again. Meanwhile, our food took almost an hour (we ordered a sharing plate) & my girlfriend ordered something else. When the sharing plate eventually arrived, they had clearly forgotten her food. We asked for that to be sorted out & 3 beers.. which didn't arrive until we asked for them once again. The manager was moderately apologetic about forgetting my girlfriend's food & assured us that he'd give us a discount. When we asked for the bill, he took a whopping £2.10 off, still leaving us with a balance of more than £120. When my girlfriend politely suggested that that didn't really seem like an accurate reflection of how terrible the service was & that, when she was a waitress, she would probably have knocked 50% off the bill, the manager became rude, arrogant & patronising, telling her that it wasn't her place to dictate a discount (which she wasn't trying to do anyway). He also said that we can't have been that upset as we had eaten the food - which was a baffling comment as our complaint wasn't actually about the food anyway. Then he blamed his new bar staff for the drinks scenario - although I would suggest that it was hardly her fault that she clearly hadn't received adequate cocktail training & either way it's hardly a great look to be belittling your staff in front of customers. All in all it was an absolute embarrassment, & although he told us that we wouldn't be welcome back, there's really not much danger of that happening anyway. AVOID...

Expected a great experience after seeing such positive reviews but was sorely disappointed. Booked online over an hour before going only to arrive and be told we hadn’t booked, even though I had a confirmation email a minute after being seated. We were accommodated…grudgingly and our order taken. Starters arrived and they were nice enough. Our platter arrived and it looked amazing however when we got stuck in we soon realised it wasn’t, processed chicken souvlaki which tasted nothing like chicken. Called the waiter over who was very nice and tried to defuse the situation but when the manager came over this made the situation worse. Basically no customer service skills but plenty of arrogance in the way he spoke to us and told me we should be grateful he gave us a table and the food was everything we ordered. Needless to say after some discussion we agreed to disagree and we promptly left!!! I also take great exception to someone serving me food and drink when I have watched them openly pick their nose in view of everyone and not have the decency to wash their hands!!! 👎🏻👎🏻 Plenty of other Greek restaurants in the area, that have been tried, tested and...

Went for the first time on friday evening and it was absolutely first class with down to earth staff doing everything possible to make their customers satisfied and happy. My son and daughter in law visited last night and can only mirror my comments. As for the food I can only write only two words, 'Absolutely Stunning'. Cannot fault the ambience, staff, and the food is to die for. Just booked for next weekend because that platter is crying out my name. The thing I'd like to say is that the staff are absolutely first class, but unfortunately in life they have the odd customer who likes complain for no reason whatsoever and expect money off their bill. Respect works both ways so people need to have a little think before complaining that their dip is a bit to hot or that there their wait is not to their liking. Again, the food in this place absolutely first class run by first class people 👏

First visit here after being recommended by a friend and wow didn't disappoint. I would definitely recommend booking a table as it was full and a wait for walk ins. It's not a massive place but very quaint and Greek. We went specifically to try the yiasou platter for 2 which for £30 was amazing, loads of hot pitas and crispy fries topped with chicken and pork kebab meat and 4 skewers on top chicken, beef pork and some kind of Sausage. You get to pick 2 sauces and the feta sauce was stunning and we wish we had ordered 2. All staff were busy but super friendly and polite. Wine was nice and a steal and £5 for a small glass. Overall would definitely recommend and will be back, great food, great service another one to add to our favourites 😊

As soon as we entered, we could see the tables were full and people looked happy. Some customers left after finishing their meals, but it took a while for the staff to clear the tables. There was just one person taking orders, seating guests, serving food and drinks, and clearing tables whenever he could. It was clearly very busy. Two staff members were in the kitchen cooking food. There were also takeaway orders, and people waited at the bar to be seated. Despite everything, the all-in-one staff member always had a smile and was very polite. We ordered Chicken grill gyros and lamb kufe which was really delicious and so softy and juicy, but we were full at the end of meal. Will surely visit again
