I was very dissapointed with the experience I had today. I've been to many Korean resteraunts and can even cook Korean food myslef, I was going to Cardiff to do some shopping so i thought I will pop in and give it a try. The lady who was serving me was not friendly or warm, she was really cold to be honest. She never smiled at me when I and my sister smiled at her and made us feel unwelcome. Whilst I was eating my food deliveries of stock came in and out meaning they pushed the tables back and I had to hear unpealsent noise while eating my food the atmosphere was so bad. I was really dissapointed with the quality of the kimchi was terrible tasted like bland cabbage. The resteraunt was not hygienic and I found a fly in my kimchi I know this could be an accident but it gave my stomach an uneasy feeling. My bill was 40 pounds for this price I would expect more to be honest, I know many Korean resteraunts that don't look amazing inside but the food tastes great ! Taste is king and I was do dissapointed with my experience. The only positive thing to say is the meat marinade was nice and the gentleman who I think is the owner was very friendly and lovely and warm. I didn't want to write this review because he was so nice. But I hope this establement can learn from their...

A Lovely little restaurant that exceeded our expectations in every way. The portions were incredibly generous, and the service was top-notch. Our waiter gave us great advice when we were ordering.
What really stood out was how flexible they were with the menu. We ordered the mixed meat BBQ and the king prawn yaki soba, but wanted to swap the prawns and chicken around so we could BBQ the prawns and enjoy the chicken in the yaki soba. They accommodated our request without any fuss, which was greatly appreciated!
It was also clear we were a bit out of our depth with the BBQ, but the waiter kindly stepped in and offered some much-needed guidance, making the experience all the more enjoyable.
Some reviews mentioned a lack of seasoning however this was not the case for us, along with the kbbq we were given a small dish with crushed chilli and another with a sauce for dipping the meat into.
For anyone looking for a delicious and inexpensive meal without the commercial chain restaurant vibes, I would highly recommend this place. Just be cautious not to over-order as the portions are quite large! You can easily eat well for under £15 per person if you...
Read moreWas here with a few friends. To say we left disappointed is an understatement; it was an abysmal experience compared to what we expected from the reviews.
Half of the cushion of the chair I was on seems to have withered away and vaporized due to the countless people having sat on it for 10+ years. The whole place seemed a little neglected. The food itself wasn't very close to being authentic, it was meh.
One of our stoves was not working and they suggested to split up 2 group members onto a separate table in a distant corner - in what world is that the default response for a group trying to have dinner, together!? Also they did not seem to understand the concept of cross-contamination of meals due to dietary requirements. The service team has a lot to learn, there were even more problems beside this. Felt like I was an annoyance, not a customer.
Definitely do not recommend going here - it is lacking in everything you want from a nice place to enjoy a meal at. I will be socially distancing myself from this restaurant, far far away at a...
