The worst restaurant experience I had ever in my whole life and I had some, I would recommend any body who values his time & money, never to visit this place. We came in & were seated at a table for two, we decided to indulge our self so we invited the bigger menu for 27 pound each. The lighting was very poor & the place wasn't very clean, after about 10 minutes we got a bowl of prawn crackers, after about 20 minutes waiting we got the starters, the ribs were over cooked, we had to ask for water. three times, After over half an hour , our dirty plates and the plates on the table next to us were moved, then we were given the second course, which was an over cooked half a duck chewy and almost inedible with pancakes, after which we continued to wait and wait, we noticed much attention given to take away orders which was at the cost of the eat in diners, who were left to wait and then to get food cooked in an unsatisfactory way. As our waiting continued, we decided enough, approached the cashier to pay & to leave, ( there was another person that complained on the long waiting time) & to our astonishment , were asked to pay the full price of 54 pounds ( although we didn't at this point even see the main dish) , we said in light of our experience, we are prepared to pay for only what we ate and even this is to much, the cashier girl went up to discuss the issue with the manager, who didn't even bother to come & discuss the issue with us , not mentioning to apologize, the cashier asked us to pay half the price, we refused & at the end payed ( basically wasted) 21 pounds, no apology was offered to us. except by the cashier . A terrible experience, with such a management and such an attitude this place would not last very...
Read moreWe booked a table for 2pm. When we arrived, we were then told the kitchen would be closed in 20 minutes. We decided to go for the set menu and the small starters were not home made and bought in and they were very bland and factory made and the main course, I ordered, sweet and sour chicken. The chicken was deep fried and the chef just poured sweet and sour sauce that was straight out of the bottle, tasted the same as iceland £2 frozen sweet and sour instead of £13.95 that they were charging. The other customers seemed happy and I looked at what they were eating and their food looked a lot better than what we were served. When we were asked "how was the food"? we gave our report and I said, if you did not have the time to serve and cook properly, it would have been better to be honest and stay we would not have time when I rang to book the table. The waitress stopped clearing our table and walked off and started talking to her colleagues and I paid the...
Read moreWhat a waste of £55.00. Food was watery, tasteless and insipid. Prawn toasts were the tiniest I have ever seen and certainly not worth £5.00! Moo Shu pork did not even have a hint of yellow bean sauce. Crispy chicken noodles were awful, menu didn't say the Crispy chicken noodles came with lots of vegetables and a few pieces of chicken separately which was overwhelmed by ginger. Most of the things I wanted to order was unavailable at the time or not available at all and hadn't been for quite some time but this has not been updated on their online menu. I asked the staff if any chilli oil was available which is usually used in Chinese restaurants and they said yes so I asked if I could have some, they then charged me £3.00 for a pot of sweet chilli sauce when I got the food home, not what I had asked for. Will certainly never use again, extremely...
