Avoid ! Dreadful place.

Not only was this a disastrous lunch for all three of us but I later discovered they overcharged me by approx £5! Having paid using my phone I didn’t notice at the time. Feel scammed on top of an awful lunch. Three friends visit this cafe having used it once before and been happy with it. Clearly new owners now and what awful food and disastrous service with mistakes with every meal. I ordered a set meal but arrived without beans and the toast that came with it was just warm bread with a hideous bright yellow spread - did not attempt to eat this foul looking item. Another ordered omelette and chips with coleslaw - arrived without chips and coleslaw! They made chips for him but they were disgusting half still frozen soggy muck. Third friend ordered chicken salad wrap with mayo and chips. The wrap arrived but only had dry chicken in it with no salad or mayo. She refused to eat it and got a refund. Even my coffee was wrong. They asked if I wanted milky coffee and I said no, just coffee with a drop of milk please. They brought me milky coffee. Later when checking my phone I realised they charged me nearly £15 for a meal that was about £7 plus the coffee and garbage piece of toast. They scammed me out of about £5 and I was too far away to return. Awful place - go at your own risk of total...

Must be new owners - if not your standards have free fallen with a mighty crash. Been calling here for foodfor a few years. Used to be fantastic. Ordered two breakfasts for me and my wife. After 15 minutes my wife's breakfast arrived. 30 minutes later - still no sign of my food. We to ask for a refund. Was told that my food was being cooked as we spoke. Took my refund. As we were leaving, waiter comes over - very sorry about the food - your breakfast is ready NOW if you still want it. Decided to stay and eat. Watier came back after 5 minutes only to infor us that the food was again delayed - think they took the Mick on purpose. Got up walked out. Won't be spending my money there again - place is a joke Only giving 1 star as I have to give 1 to post my review No stars for food - didn't have any No stars for service - extremely poor Atmosphere - make...

Absolutely disappointed with our visit today my partner and I went in for some food and what a bad experience we had.. after waiting almost 50 minutes our breakfast eventually arrived with a side of burnt toast and no cutlery, they replaced the carbon slabs with butter soaked bread.. says it all when the chef cant make toast doesn't it.. the food itself was questionable as the Mrs scrambled eggs were half cooked and slimy.. the two most easiest things to make ( scrambled eggs and toast) it's shocking.. we will not be going there again as we personally felt disgusted...
