Milk and Sugar has quickly become my favourite spot in the city. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The incredible staff and waiters make you feel right at home, always attentive and genuinely friendly, which sets the tone for an amazing experience every time.
The food here is simply delicious. I've tried everything from their hearty breakfasts to their delectable desserts, and each dish is a culinary delight. You can tell they use fresh ingredients and put a lot of thought into their menu. Every bite feels like a treat.
The layout of the cafe is fantastic. There are cozy corners for intimate chats and open spaces perfect for larger gatherings. The modern yet comfortable decor creates a relaxed ambiance that's perfect for unwinding. It's clear they've put a lot of effort into making the space welcoming and versatile.
One of my favourite things about Milk and Sugar is the coffee. As a coffee enthusiast, I'm always on the lookout for a great brew, and the baristas here are top-notch. Whether I'm in the mood for a strong espresso or a creamy latte, they never disappoint. You can really taste the quality and care they put into each cup.
Milk and Sugar is also an excellent spot for both work and socializing. With free Wi-Fi, plenty of seating, and lots of power outlets, it's perfect for getting some work done. At the same time, the friendly vibe and communal tables make it a great place to meet new people or catch up with friends.

Read moreArrived just after 2pm today, shown to our table promptly and given the menus. When we were asked what we would like to order , I asked for the soup on the special board - k not available and husband requested the turkey, cranberry and brie sandwich, again not available. Nothing was mentioned when we initially sat down with the menus. Husband ordered a tuna toastie and drinks for both. Drinks arrived within minutes. Twenty minutes later no sign of the tuna toastie, we asked where it was to be told it was on its way. I would like to mention here that there was one other occupied table in the cafe at this point and they were already finished with their food. Ten minutes passed, we asked again to be told that the original toastie has been made but as the bread had been cut too thinly it had collapsed and the kitchen staff were making another one. The whole time we were in the Milk and Sugar the kitchen sounded busy with blenders working but no food coming out? We paid for two soft drinks but so disappointed with the customer service and avoidance of explaining why the food advertised was unavailable and the toastie that never made its way of the kitchen. You certainly made it clear that you didn’t really care or bothered...
Read moreover a half hour wait (closer to an hour actually) for a poached egg and avocado on toast. the place wasn't even full. four youngsters idly taking orders, cleaning and thoroughly wiping dishes glasses and silverware and two people "cooking" (one of them busy toasting bread) when a man who had arrived ten minutes after me was served his two poached eggs on toast with tchatchouka, before i had seen any food, i decided enough was enough and i got up, paid for my tea and left. no one apologised for the very long wait nor for serving that other customer before me in spite my order was quicker and easier to prepare. and the girl who finally took my payment was almost rude to me. how long does it take to pay two eggs toast a slice of bread and spread mashed avocado on it? (5 minutes in the place where i finally ate, down the road). when you don't have the staff nor the room to cook, you just serve coffees and cakes. you don't pretend to...
